10/10 We stayed in the Louis Leonowens Pool Suite at 137 Pillars House Chiang Mai (around $1,000+ a night), and it was honestly amazing. The suite is huge walk-in closet, spacious living room, massive king bed, outdoor shower, a big private pool, and the kind of bathroom setup you’d expect at a five-star spa (giant tub, separate rainfall shower, and separate stalls). The room is also decorated with vintage elephant photos which added a really cool, historic vibe. Every night, we could hear soft piano music from the main restaurant drifting up to our balcony while we had room service. It made everything feel peaceful and kind of magical. The service was perfect. Our butler emailed before we even arrived to introduce himself, and we could text him during our stay for anything taxis, tour ideas, whatever. It made everything super easy. Breakfast is included, and it’s a really nice mix of buffet and table service super fresh, beautifully food that doesn’t feel like hotel food at all. Location-wise, it’s great. We were just a quick 5 10 minute taxi ride to anything we wanted to see in the city. They also sent someone from the hotel to pick us up from the airport and help with our bags complimentary. Would absolutely recommend 137 Pillars Chiang Mai to anyone looking for an easy, luxury stay with a little character and charm. Perfect for a “fat travel” kind of trip. Totally love it !! Wish I could stay here for a month and enjoy the peaceful and beautiful life of Chiang Mai one of my most favorite cities in the world. Our Butler Tuck was also lovely, attentive and very helpful

Our recent four-night visit to 137 Pillars House was a truly outstanding experience. As a small boutique hotel, it excels in providing unparalleled service, exceptional cuisine, and a dedicated team. The personal touch from General Manager Ann, who was both welcoming and highly engaging, significantly contributed to our enjoyment. We loved texting Tuck with every little need and for reservations. She answered quickly! The meticulous attention to every aspect of our stay underscores the hotel's commitment to excellence. We highly recommend this property for those seeking a luxurious and impeccably managed retreat.

137 pillars in Chiang Mai is hands down one of the most spectacular hotels and experiences one could imagine. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and top tier. The service is completely out of this world. From Toto being the absolute best and great with communication and accommodations, to the front desk staff, restaurant workers, managers, food, cleaning staff - I can’t say enough amazing things about them all—they go above and beyond! This is truly a hotel you want to stay and not leave! I can’t wait to come back and stay here again!

Our every need was catered for and with a smile. Special thanks to the GM Ann for her insights and history of the hotel and surrounding area. Definitely recommend.

Toto was excellent. He helped us with everything! Amazing food and service. The rooms are very comfortable and the ambience is also 5 stars. Even the manager Ann came and talked to us on several occasions. The hotel helped us arrange 3 excellent tours in Chiang Mai.
