Ate here to celebrate my birthday, my husband arranged everything and it was a beautiful, special, evening. We love Thai food and the waiter helped us select an amazing array of the finest choices, the sea bass soup, pomello and soft shell crab salad, pork curry and red snapper did not disappoint.

Last week a group of us (14) went for dinner at 137 Pillars restaurant. We were sadly disappointed with the overall experience. I would have given 1 star, only because we knew that the waiter (I forgot his name) tried his best to provide us with his best service, that I decide to add an addition star. For what we paid and what 137 Pillars brand’s itself to be, we were VERY shocked with the kind of food that they served us. Being a big group, we ordered many different items to share. To say the least the prawns were not fresh and the lamb was actually still frozen. Of course the ambience of the place is nice, and probably it would have been better for us to have lunch to see the grounds better. But given the standard of the food and what it cost, I am not sure I would want to even recommend or return to try the place again.

We stayed at 137 Pillars for a few nights and it absolutely blew us away. This is BY FAR the best hotel we've ever stayed in, not only in Thailand but in all of our travels. The property - the grounds, the rooms, the pool are all beautiful and very well kept. Service, especially from our butler Toto was amazing. He was always available via text and extremely helpful with recommendations, booking tours/excursions and dinner reservations. If you are thinking about staying at 137 Pillars, I 100% recommend without any hesitation!

Very friendly and helpful staff! Our butler arranged many of our meals and day trips, which really helped. It’s an elegant historical property and uncrowded with only 30 suites. We highly recommend this for a romantic get away. We will return!

We Absolutely loved the small boutique hotel 137 pillars in the middle of Chang Mai. We are very picky lux travelers and it checked all our boxes. It is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the town and it is absolutely beautiful. The rooms, service and food are exceptional. The staff really cares about their guests and it shows in so many ways. We met the GM and she is lovely. We/guide came back all the way from Chang Rai as the hotel we stayed at (in another review) was dreadful. We drove 4 hours to stay again for our last night in CM in Pillars, while we were traveling throughout SE Asia. When we go back to CM, this is our hotel of choice. Highly recommended!
