Excellent arrival experience. Very personable staff. Sam and Joel greet you by name even after the first day. Amanda and chase and the other front desk staff are very friendly. Impressive. Got my morning tea st the cafe- good quality with s smile. The location is ideal- a short block or two to magnificent mile shops and restaurants without the noise. Really comfortable and spacious rooms and suites. Live the pillows and bed. The big windows let in slot of light. And my view was of St Clair Street. The rooms are really nice and going through updates, so when I come back in a couple of weeks, the rooms will even be nicer and the rooftop deck will be done too. You font need a car here but they do have parking. TIP: ask for the "coaster " when you sign up for ChoicePrivileges. You get a deal at the bar if you show your coaster and it is a hand-painted souvenir.

Great location! Convienent to everything, but was disappointed that the roof top bar was closed for renovations, but continued to be advertised during our stay! Valet parking was extremely expensive $67 per night. I highly recommend the parking app "Spot Hero"! Accomadations were comfortable, staff was accommodating.

I stayed here about 3 months ago and its a good and central hotel. I stayed for one night and was pretty satisfied with everything here. Clean and large room and a friendly staff. I had to call down stairs for a couple of items and they were very quick to respond and get me what I needed. Pretty good choice and good price as well.

I love the Cambria's. This one in Chicago is fairly nice. A different approach then what I am used to. (Maybe because it is a big city) but besides that city approach it is really home feeling. Very comfortable place.

We stayed here for the night on a quick visit to Chicago. We loved the style of the hotel and its appointments. The complimentary libations for Choice Hotel members never hurts either. Our room was really comfortable and clean, had plenty of space, and a lovely view of downtown. Nice roomy bathroom with plenty of towels as well. Our one caveat to visitors is: if you can book this hotel with any kind of parking package, do it. Otherwise, valet is around $60/night, and self-parking nearby isn't worth the hassle to save a few bucks. We realize the parking rates downtown are usually pricey, but this may come as a shock to some guests, particularly considering how reasonable the room rates usually are. The restaurant and bar serve tasty fare and a good selection of wine and cocktails, if you decide to stay in at mealtime. It's hard to resist the lure of Chicago's myriad of great restaurants, especially considering many of them are close by. We will definitely keep our eye on this chain, and this property, for future visits.
