I fully appreaciate my experience at the Cambria. The room size was perfect, larger than usuall with a split level type. The entrance and office were overlooking the room. Bed was great. Only down side, the shower was quite small.

Booked the wrong night with a groupon secret stay. Staff went out of their way to fix it for me. Big thanks to Dana from reservations and Annie on the front desk who also got us in our room early which was a god send because we were all jet lagged and exhausted plus sick. Lovely to have such nice facilities in the heart of Chicago.

We stayed at this hotel with our family. The room was perfect for us! It was spotless, quiet, and roomy. The staff at the hotel was fantastic. They helped with anything we needed, answered our questions gladly, and performed their jobs above and beyond what we expected. The hotel isn’t as large as most in Chicago, and that’s a good thing! Personal attention and no crowds. It’s right next door to some of the best pizza in Chicago. Other restaurants are an easy walk, even in subzero temps. The valet parking attendant and the bellhop were the best! We will definitely stay here again!

Very nice, welcoming, friendly staff. Room was fine, though a bit spare (only one chair in room). Spruced up economy feel. Utilitarian, but made to feel a little special. Couches and chairs around the fire looked inviting but were not great to sit on - my wife caught her sweater in a protruding nail and the cushions were shot on the chairs. But cheerfulness makes up for a lot and the price was excellent. We were very happy with stay overall.

This was a first time staying at this hotel with my family of four (age 7 and 5) and the location was outstanding. The location in the middle of the theater district was awesome (right next door to the Oriental Theater). We were able to quickly walk to Maggie Dailey Park and Macy's was a stones throw away. Everyone in the hotel was very friendly and our room was ready early. The room itself was very spacious and we stayed in a king room. I am not sure if it was the standard room but it had a couch for one of my boys to sleep on and my other boy slept on a cushioned bench in the room (which he loved). The room had a small fridge and the blue tooth bathroom mirror was really cool for playing music throughout the room. Our friends that joined us had a double queen room and it was also nice. We took advantage of the game room on the fourth floor that had a pool table, shuffle board table, big tv and foosball table. We ordered in food and also ate in this very large space. We also had some drinks at the bar which had a great crowd. We received one buy one get one free drink because we are Choice members on a very nice Cambria coaster that we were able to keep. The only negative, which was small, was right outside our room was the Oriental Theater sign which stayed on pretty late and the hotel smelled like popcorn (right next door to Garrett's Popcorn). The two problems were easy to fix with very heavy darkening blinds and picking up some popcorn (who am I kidding this was a positive). This was an outstanding stay and we will be staying here again in the near future.
