Fairmont Chicago’s new design catapulted it to the top of hotel options in The Loop, Chicago’s business and theater district that’s home to many of the city’s cultural attractions. Past an opulent gold-hued lobby awaits a collection of guest rooms dressed in a natural color palette of cream, chocolate and mossy green highlighted by a bold floral print from Warwick Orme. Marble baths come with a separate rainfall shower and soaking tub, and for further relaxation, the spa offers couples’ soaks in a sumptuous suite.

The Fairmont at Millenium Park is a 5 Star, excellent hotel; a beautiful property that’s conveniently located within walking distance of downtown, The Art Institute, Millenium Park, Michigan Avenue, etc. The rooms are nicely-sized, the beds are extremely comfortable and it’s well-appointed. The staff is friendly, helpful and professional. My experience with Steven at the front desk set the tone for a wonderful stay. When he learned I was a returning Chicago native he assigned me a room that had a view of the architecture of my hometown and the Chicago River!

I stayed at stayed at the Fairmont Chicago-Millineum for 3 nights as I was attending a conference that was geld there. The location of the hotel was within walking distance of several restaurants, shops, and attractions. The rooms were spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. I found the staff to be friendly and welcoming, especially the valet persons. I would stay here again.

Had a great experience staying at the Fairmont Chicago location. The staff were very friendly and always helpful. The location is great and close to restaurants, Millennium Park, a CVS location is across the street.

The shower didn't drain properly and thus kept flooding. Also, the lights in the bathroom kept turning off after 30 seconds, which was extremely frustrating. Also, I didn't like the fact that they did away with the small toiletry bottles. I also ran out of towels and espresso, but I guess I could have called down to ask for more. Otherwise, it was a good stay, it just didn't feel as nice or as luxurious as previous Fairmont hotel stays.

Fairmont Chicago is mainly a business hotel. It was built late 1990 and you still feel it in the rooms. I would say it’s perfect for a short stay while attending an event, but don’t expect anything special. HOWEVER. I was lucky enough to experience the Fairmont Gold rooms and experience between the 14th and 16th floor. Those rooms were refurbished recently and oh my, what an experience. It is truly a hotel within a hotel. If you’re going for leisure, please book a Fairmont Gold room. The staff is nicer and friendlier than my experience in a regular room, the room is brighter, bigger and you truly feel in a Fairmont.
