Great hotel

Fantastic hotel. Great location. Nicely appointed. Very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful at every step: bell hops; parking attendants; check-in; restaurant; room service; cleaning staff; concierge; pool side attendants. Literally everyone.

Thank you FS Chicago for a memorable week.

I had the best mother son trip at the FS Chicago in August. The staff was so warm and friendly they all felt like old friends. The hotel is very luxurious with marble throughout and an elegant atmosphere. Upon first arrival, I appreciated the hotel being on the 7th floor tucked away from the street level offering privacy. The location was perfect to walk to many tourist attractions: Museum of Sports, Watertower place - the cotton candy next to the museum of sports was amazing, Navy Pier, Oak beach, river walk, museums, good shopping in a clean and safe neighborhood. The room was well appointed. We stayed in a lake view executive suite which was spacious allowing for many comfortable room service visits even from the ice cream man. Hi Bryce!! My only suggestion as a parent is the ice cream man’s last call is just before dinner so that was not ideal but my son was happy to have an ice cream dinner with a side of chicken tenders and fries which he proclaimed to be the among the best he has ever had. Along the topic of food, I did not eat a bad meal, the food was phenomenal from appetizer to dessert and the dining atmosphere was casual chic. No need to get overly dressed up. The pool and jacuzzi was lovely. We really enjoyed playing and hanging out there. Will we be back? Definitely! Do I recommend it? 100%

Nice but not 5 stars

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

Pros: excellent service, fantastic food at the restaurant (Adorn), and a nice pool (although it was super crowded with kids when we stayed over Labor Day weekend, so doing laps was not possible). The lake view from our room was beautiful and our large bathroom was elegant and nicely appointed. Our room was clean. The beds were very comfortable. Our room service breakfast came quickly and was delicious. Cons: Our room was very plain. It didn't have that luxury feel of a $1,000+ a night hotel. There weren't a lot of extras or amenities connected to our room or our stay. My friend and I wanted to get pedicures together but we had to do them consecutively since there was only one nail technician. (And she was sullen and a bit unpleasant, though she did a good job) The little shop at the spa was super little (barely a shop - just a corner with some stuff) with minimal items for purchase and NO variety in sizes in the clothes. I checked in online before our stay, but when we arrived, it still took 20 minutes to get our room card, etc., so I don't know why you would bother checking in online. All in all, the hotel was nice, but not particularly interesting, and not the spectacular, luxury feeling that I would expect for the price and for the name Four Seasons.

Best Luxury Hotel in Chicago

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

The Four Seasons Chicago continues to impress with its facilities, service, and of course an amazing location. The remodeled gym, spa and pool are amazing. As a repeat guest, they know my preferences, and staying there is always such a pleasure. This last trip the bartender remembered my name and my favorite drink and they accommodated an early check in which is always appreciated.
