Came in for a four day stay without ever being to Chicago. Staff was very friendly and beds were comfortably. Hotel was clean even though it is going through a face lift. The concierge, Tim Samples, went above and beyond by making all of our tour plans for us. He has extensive knowledge of the Chicago area. Great job. We would stay here again and recommend it for others.

We stayed one night at $268 because we were led to believe this was a special property. Our room was musty and furniture marginal and uncomfortable. Shower door leaked badly and there was mold on the shower grout and tile. Unacceptable for what we paid, buyer beware!

Stayed here four nights for a conference that was held at the Marriott (which is right across the street). The service was outstanding with every single employee making me feel welcome. The location is convenient to all that the Mag Mile and River North have to offer. The gym in the basement is one of the best that I've encountered in a hotel. Here are some more positives: *Across the street from Trader Joe's *Excellent wifi (bring your Roku or other streaming device) *Each room has a tablet that allows you to order food or schedule room cleaning *Plenty of self-parking garages nearby (50 E. Ohio is in same block) *Big Bowl, Shake Shack, California Pizza Kitchen all in same block I particularly liked being able to schedule room cleaning within a 30 minute window.

Arrived quite early after a red eye and was greeted politely by everyone I encountered. Got into a room they had available and was able to get some sleep before exploring the city. Room was spacious and clean, and we enjoyed the unique style.
