The Langham, Chicago

If you’re looking to stay in Chicago, look NO FURTHER!!! The Langham Chicago is the most incredible place you’ll ever stay. Not just because it’s a luxury hotel that completely lives upto that standard, but because it also has the most incredible team of people who are for you. They genuinely want you to have an amazing stay. The valet, the behind the scenes workers keeping the grounds clean and the entire service team. Renowned for its hospitality, the hotel seamlessly caters to families, couples, and solo travelers, creating a welcoming experience for all. Their facilities are gorgeous, the food is amazing (room service and the restaurant) the beds are so comfortable, the pool area and spa is amazing as well—weather you’re there for a couples weekend, for a family weekend or a solo trip, you will have the best time here. The pool is warm, the hot tub is hot. It’s relaxing. Our kids have fun and swim and we can sit and read quietly or join them swimming. The Langham Chicago is really is an exceptional host, the hotel warmly welcomes every kind of traveler—families, couples, and solo guests alike. Most importantly the group of employees you will encounter is the icing on the cake. Our stay this weekend was graced by Armando, Indra and Aleksandra upon check in who absolutely welcome you in and explain everything you need to know. They will tell you about events in the hotel or things you may be interested in (the play suite for children ect) they are there for any of your needs and as stated before they genuinely want you to enjoy your stay!!!! You can feel that from the moment you step in the doors. If you need anything they are your people. We were celebrating my birthday this weekend and they made it a weekend to remember. The day we checked out we ordered some lunch poolside , and Alex from room service was just great!!! In fact everyone who had any kind of service to provide this weekend blew us out of the water. We didn’t catch the gentleman’s name who brought us our dinner in our room but he poured our drinks for us after setting the table up, the gentleman who came to make up the sofa bed in our room was quick but so efficient and even offered to give us a heavier comforter if the one he brought wouldn’t be warm enough. Because of the way we are treated every single stay where we continue to call this our home away from home. We know nowhere else will come close to the way the Langham loves their guests.

We had a truly exceptional experience at the Langham Hotel for our micro wedding on 12/31/2025! As soon as we walked into the Melbourne room we knew it was the right place for a cozy, intimate, and above all elevated celebration. So, from the moment we booked this venue until the very end, Emily and her team ensured that every detail was executed absolutely seamlessly and to our liking. They were also extremely thoughtful and kind during all interactions, while our questions were met with understanding and flexibility. We were not only impressed by staff members, but also by the amenities the hotel provides including an unforgettable spa you’re welcome to explore in addition to fabulous locations for pictures. Overall, the Langham hotel, Emily and the team created an unmatched 5-star luxurious stay for our families on one of the most important days of our lives. We stayed one night and wished we had more time here! Have visited Chicago many times and this is one of two spots we'd choose all day long! Impeccably trained staff, spacious room, excellent spa, walkable location. We will be back soon.

My wife and I stayed at The Langham, Chicago, for a few nights with family around the time of our wedding. We both grew up in the Chicago suburbs and know the city well, but this was our first stay at the Langham, and we loved it. The first thing that stood out was how spacious the room felt. I believe we stayed in a Premier Room, and by city standards, it was huge. The bed was grand and extremely comfortable, with just the right firmness. One small detail that stuck with us was the distance between the foot of the bed and the wall-mounted TV. It made the room feel open and calm rather than tight or cluttered. The decorating felt elegant without being stiff or formal. We appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the espresso machine in the room. The bathroom was another highlight. The frosted glass window gave privacy while still letting light through, and the rain shower had intense water pressure and felt genuinely luxurious. The location was a big plus. It was easy to get to the Loop, Grant Park, Michigan Avenue, and neighborhoods like River North and Fulton Market. We had dinner nearby both nights, which made everything simple and stress-free. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant also stood out, even if the specific details blur together now. The lobby is beautiful, and several family members who stayed there at the same time also commented on how much they enjoyed the hotel. Pricing felt reasonable for a hotel of this quality. For the room size, comfort, service, and location, it felt like excellent value and money well spent. We would absolutely stay here again and would gladly seek out other Langham properties in the future.
