Mag Mile Xmas lights weekend
Our stay was out of this world. Excellence from the hallway, room, bar, location, drinks and the best of all, the breakfast in room. Must have.

Not a 5-star experience
The hotel is beautiful and the employees are very professional, but I didn't quite have a 5-star staycation experience at The Langham. I booked a room for 4 and they gave us a tiny room with one bed, even though their site says that the room sleeps 4. The two kids slept in the bed, I slept on a rollaway bed, and my sister slept in a chair. The answer was "no" to every request that could've enhanced our stay. I couldn't book the cinema suite, I couldn't get club lounge passes, and no one working there had a clue about the Som sleep drink that is on the sleep enhancement menu. It turns out that I was supposed to call the spa to arrange it to be delivered to the room, but by the time I finally learned that, they spa was closed. You would think that the sleep drink would available during sleeping hours. If you're a discerning traveler like me, book a club suite. If that's not available, you're better off booking elsewhere.

First class hotel
The Langham is a wonderful addition to Chicago. The staff anticipates your needs, is incredibly friendly and professional. The food was amazing and the location is equally impressive!
