The Park Hyatt Chicago is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in, and I don't say that lightly. It starts the second you arrive. The doormen are completely attentive and have fun being the first impression. And then, the lobby makes a big one. Holy smokes it is beautiful. The art alone stops you in your tracks. It's the kind of space that tells you exactly what kind of stay you're in for before you've even gotten your room keys. The room delivered on that promise. Plush, beautiful carpeting underfoot, a bed I didn't want to leave and an unbelievable soaking tub stocked with bath salts that turned an ordinary day into a spa day. Even the window treatments were beautiful — the shades and blinds are the kind of detail most hotels overlook and this one clearly didn't. And .... they automatically rise as you enter your room as to welcome you. Room service was delicious and you order right from the in-room tablet, which is as easy and civilized as it sounds. Do not miss the outdoor bar on the 7th floor. It's a total treat — artisan cocktails, great bartenders who know their craft and an atmosphere that makes you want to settle in for the night. And when you do want to venture out, the location cannot be beat; you're in the heart of Chicago. The whole experience is completely indulgent, in the best possible way. Not a detail missed, not a moment of service that fell short. I cannot, cannot, cannot wait to come back.

Love Park Hyatt Chicago. As the flagship location, it’s truly one of the best city hotels out there. We’ve stayed at many Chicago hotels including the Langham, Peninsula, and St. Regis, but we keep going back to the Park Hyatt. There’s no better location in the city. Compared to the others, the rooms are newer/nicer, and the service is wonderful. We recently celebrated a birthday here, and the concierge team was absolutely amazing. We’re so thankful to Casey, Vanessa, Aimee, and the whole Park Hyatt staff. They definitely went out of the way to make it special. NoMi Kitchen was good as always - not just for breakfast but also dinner. I hope the executive chef never leaves!

This was our third visit, and we have never been disappointed. Although our stays are always short—just one night each time—this hotel holds many precious memories for our family and has become a very special place to us. The unexpected upgrade made this stay even more memorable, and Liz at the front desk was truly exceptional. Her kindness, professionalism, and thoughtful attention throughout check-in made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. We’re already looking forward to returning again this October!
