My husband and I visited the Park Hyatt in Chicago for a long weekend to celebrate our 10-year wedding anniversary. We stayed in a Lake View Suite and it was comfortable and relaxing and spacious. We had great views of the lake, Michigan Avenue, the City and Water Tower Building. The bed was superb, as was the window bench seat and Eames lounge chair. I would stay at this property again in a heartbeat -- great staff, surroundings and nice dining options.

My fiancé and I booked here after we had a bit of winter cabin fever. We had a fabulous city view. Room was beautiful and I loved the large soak tub. Bed was super comfortable, staff was professional and friendly. What we loved the most was the location. We walked to dinner, shopping and had a great time. Right by Water Tower, Michigan Avenue & State street shopping, a wide array of restaurants of all kinds and entertainment and bars. Definitely, my preferred place to stay in Chicago!

Lovely, professional and friendly staff, always welcoming. Quietly elegant with great service. Room was immaculate with nice amenities. Respite in the busy city. Easily accessible and near anything you would need or want. Lake view, always a treat.

The hotel offers a great location just off Michigan Ave. by the Water Tower. Although on a low floor (8th), we had a nice lake view over the Museum of Contemporary Art. There were nice touches such as the remote-operated blinds and lighting that offered lots of options. The bathroom was particularly spacious and well appointed. There is a nice fitness area, although it is a bit small. There were a couple of annoyances, however. The TV remote was needlessly complicated- so much so that I gave up watching. There was also a subtle odor in the rooms that we didn't really 'process' until the morning of our departure when it became dramatically more obvious, to the point that our rooms smelled like a sewer line had backed up. I can't say how this might have been handled because it only became noticeable on the morning of our departure.

Stayed while working a trade show at McCormick. Spent 4 nights. Entire staff was friendly and helpful. No problem getting in and out of Lyft in front of the hotel. Plenty of places nearby to grab missing items like Walgreens and 7-11. Stayed on the 17th floor. Cannot comment on the view but I was not on lakeside. Room exactly as described in Tripadvisor reviews. Huge tub with separate shower. Plenty of pressure and hot water. Many amenities to make you comfortable during your stay or if you forget anything. Bathroom is huge and the toilet is in a separate area in bath with door for privacy. Fancy coffee maker with 4 coffee pods apon arrival in your room. Makes a small to medium amount of coffee your choice. No microwave, no ice on the floor. Fridge in room but stocked with drinks and food to purchase, no room for outside stuff. Plenty of windows with automated shades. Lights were the worst aspect. They use LEDS and they do not do the job and major areas around the room were not well lit. Large TV with plenty of channels. Small Las Vegas TV in bathroom if you wish to have company. Room was quiet and room service did a nice job. Plenty of pillows and the bed was comfortable. Hotel itself was very quiet and check-in and check-out was fast and efficient. Be sure to ask for a high floor to minimize the probability of noise from the street (my friend stayed on the third floor).
