this is my local Park Hyatt and it has continually overpromised and underdelivered. I have it ranked below 10 non park brands where I have stayed and it honestly could be lower. I find that the welcome is phenomenal and always has me feeling good, but when I ask for a typical park service like a shoe shine, press, toiletry delivery, it requires multiple calls, takes too long, or just simply isn’t provided. Each time this has happened, there has been an apology from the front desk and compensation, but that is not what I expect from a hyatt place property much less a park hyatt.

WE arrived at the hotel for my grandaughters college graduation and were met by a lovely staff and the hotels adorable mascot Parker. The staff was always great and we had a great time there. Each andevery time we left the hotel, the staff helped us with restaurants, driving directions and were just so friendly to. our family.

The Park Hyatt is truly one of our favorite places to stay. He rooms are warm an inviting, we loved the water tower view. The staff is courteous and professional and we loved the welcome gift for our 2 year old son and the lobby dog Parker. They went out of their way to find her because he remembered her from our last stay, now that is exceptional service! I’d give this place 6 stars if it was an option.

As Hyatt Globalists who have stayed in many Park Hyatts around the world recently, our expectations were high. Our 5:20 am was too early for checkin. We drove our rental to PH at 7 am, and were delightedly surprised to discover that our upgraded Water Tower room (great bed/bedding; bathtub with a view; strong shower; terrific view) was ready for us. We took a nap at 8 am! Richard at the front desk did a great job at checkin. Antonio warmly welcomed us--he set the tone with a great friendly reception--he created an excellent first impression, and remembered us every time; Antonio and the rest of the valet parkers were exceptional throughout our whole stay (Ricardo, Jason, and team). They were actually the standouts among the staff. Melissa at the front desk was also great throughout our stay and checkout. We had excellent a la carte breakfasts (and one experimental buffet) at NoMI every morning; NoMi Benedict with crab salad; Mashed Avocado toast; smoked salmon on bagel--those were the best we've ever had. Hostess Dimitra was exceptional in friendliness and helpfulness--she was also another distinguished standout; she remembered us at every meal. First dinner choices were disappointing; the flavor combinations were not pleasing to us. Good artichoke parmesan soup. Joe gave friendly service. We did come back for an excellent sushi platter and Tiger Maki/Salmon Avocado Maki dinner, with that good soup again. Excellent location, we walked everywhere, except for rides to Oak Park/Robie House for Frank Lloyd Wright houses. Very convenient.
