First time visitor to this hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Wonderful location near shopping dining and sightseeing. Terrific service from the whole staff really made the stay. Best room service good we've ever had--fastest delivery time too. Lovely room and features. Would definitely return.

The entire experience was superb, but what stood out were the guest services -- the front desk and bell station were supremely attentive to detail and service. When it was raining, they had an umbrella for us. When we needed help with our bags, with a taxi, tips for dining from fine dining to the best hot dog in town, they were on the spot. The hotel location is perfect, as well -- Water Tower, Michigan Avenue and the lake are on your front steps here.

The customer service at the Park Hyatt is superb. The staff here clearly knows how to treat their customers and go above and beyond to make them feel at home. I was traveling with my wife who has a feather allergy and their housekeeping staff made it their mission to make sure the room was feather free before we arrived. The rooms were big, clean, and the views were great. My wife's favorite part was the soaking tubs! Lastly, the location is perfect. Right in the heart of the Michigan Avenue shopping and dining!

Although the lobby is underwhelming, the room was nice and spacious and the spa/gym/fitness area was top quality and includes an excellent gym and a fast heating steam room.. The WiFI was reliable, although not super fast. I didn't try the restaurant with terrace seating, but it looked very nice. The location is terrific, right in the middle of the Michigan Avenue scene. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

Check in was very pleasant and I was offered a lake view room upgrade. The room was nicely appointed and seemed clean and I noticed but ignored the random hair in the sink as I washed my hands. There was a patched/plaster area on the wall that was not painted that I also noticed. I peeled back the duvet to look at the bed and was totally grossed out to find dried blood marks on the bottom sheet. The sink and the patched wall now became more apparent in my overall view of the room. I called the front desk and advised them of the situation and they offered to switch my room and even let me preview it with them. I said it was unnecessary to view it just give me a clean room. I left my bag at the front desk and went out to my meeting. I returned from the meeting and was given a key to a new room and I was told my bag was in the room already. The new room was the same as the prior only on a different floor. Everything was fine in the room however when I pulled back the duvet this time I was aghast to find a brown stain that looked like bodily fluid in the middle of one side of the bottom sheet. I could not believe that 1-any housekeeper would make a bed with a soiled sheet or perhaps the sheets were not changed. I immediately called the desk again and while no manger was available a housekeeping supervisor as well as a front desk person came to the room. I was offered yet another room and said that would not be necessary I only wanted a clean bed to sleep in. They proceeded to change the bed and I was told my rewards account would be credited 25,000 points the equivalent of a free night. I returned from dinner to a bottle of wine and a snack waiting for me (nice gesture). The points never made it to my account. I should have just been given credit for a night during this stay but was not offered that option. Cross this property off my list too bad because the food and bar was great. Photo attached is of the gross bed in the second room. Four Seasons much better option in Chicago. Sorry my group booked this property this trip. We will never return.
