Park Hyatt Chicago

This hotel is our favorite in all of Chicago. 5-Star for sure. Staff is exceptional and accomodations are world class. Restaurant is fantastic and the pool is amazing.

PH Chicago definitely lives up to its name. I stayed here for a night to recover from the marathon race, and I honestly couldn’t picked a better hotel. The services were definitely up to the PH standards where every staff member was friendly and helpful. From the moment I stepped out of the car, I immediately experienced that friendly and personable PH service from the doorman. In fact, he remembers my name after that one time so he addressed me every time I walked by until i checked out. At check in, the front desk agent realized I have recovery needs and informed me of all the amenities that would be useful to me, like the steam room (which I used 3 times during the stay). And that helped immensely for my recovery. In fact, I was ready to run again the next day! The breakfast at Nomi was also amazing. They have a great selection of choices. I ordered two entrees to refuel and both were delicious and very presentable. It’s like an art of fine breakfast dining. One of the most noteworthy things is definitely the heavenly bedding and mattress. It’s one of the best reasons to stay at a PH and Chicago does not disappoint. In fact, I passed out and slept for 10 hours straight. That hasn’t happened since the last PH stay in Vienna. All in all, PH Chicago and its staff are the epitome of luxury hospitality, where impeccable service, genuine warmth, and extraordinary attention to detail come together to create an unforgettable experience. Kudos to the management staff as well for creating such a wonderful experience. I will be back when i revisit Chicago in the future

Everything was so absolutely wonderful, from concierge reaching out before our stay, providing valuable information and welcoming us to our room with a wonderful gift celebrating our anniversary and also thinking of our kids. Every person we interacted was a delight, the room and bathroom were spacious, especially considering we were a family of 4 with 2 kids that are teens, fantastic view every morning of the lake, my kids love the window seat, I love all the modern touches and tech in the room and that it had everything we could possibly need. We all agree this is how we will measure our stay in any other hotel going foward. The location is also absolutely perfect, walking distance to mag mile, red line subway, and so many other popular stops in Chicago. My only tip, and this isn't anything about the property in itself, this is a Chicago thing, their ambulances are famously loud, so loud you can clearly hearing them in your room with windows close and very high up. We had requested a box fan that were not planning to use for sleeping but we turned it on the second night and it provided great white noise that ambulances were not longer waking us up, so our tip is to plan to bring a white noise or request a box fan for it, ear plugs are not enough.

Room wasn’t ready when we arrived at 6pm, even after confirming our time with the concierge. After a 12 hour road trip, we had to sit in the lobby of a luxury hotel and still pay its freight. On Sunday, after the marathon, our room was not serviced until after 5pm. So awful and way below expectations. Welcome to the Holiday Inn with a different name.

Park Hyatt on the Magnificent Mile was our home base for the 2026 Chicago Marathon. It's a bit far from the Grant Park start/ finish line, but the walk there wasn't so long that it affected my race. It's in a terrific location to stroll shops on the Mag Mile, and it's a short walk to get to Lake Shore Drive. The staff are kind and responsive, and our room was beautiful.
