BREI WAS AWESOME!! We definitely will be back. I'm from Detroit and this was the best hotel experience I've had in forever!!! My drink was perfect and the service was bomb!! She was leaving out before I could thank her but I hope she sees this! THANK YOU.

Mediocre “Blu” property

Hotel still markets Executive Lounge rooms to customers and Radisson Rewards members, but lounge has not been open for a while, apparently. Also, next to lots of construction on Wacker, right alongside a Fire Department. Windows and doors not very noise proof, light switches in rooms confusing, and WiFi so slow it was easier to tether from phone.

Disappointing from check in to check out and follow up from management

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

I arrived early and was hoping to get into my room before an event. I was shocked to hear that there was a $75 early check in fee. WHAT? In 30+ years of staying in hotels I have NEVER been asked to pay to check in early. If the room has been ready, why not let someone in. It doesn't create any additional work to clean it later. I picked up food to go and ate it in my room. Didn't want to have the leftover food in my room overnight so brought the container down with me as I was leaving. No trash cans in the lobby but there was one by the valets. I excused myself as I reached behind the valet to drop the container in the trash. His response was, 'That will be $20!' Wow. After being taken for $75 to check in, this snide remark didn't go down very well. I had selected the hotel because they had a lap pool. Checked it out in the evening so I could do an early morning swim. Disappointed to show up at 6AM and discover that there were NO towels at the pool. I didn't have time to return to my room so returned to my room through the halls and on the elevator dripping wet. To add insult to injury, when I checked out I asked them to email my receipt. On top of the early check in fees there were $38 ADDITIONAL FEES. When I tried to respond to the email with my receipt attached, it bounced. "Vanessa Bryan" responded to my exit survey with a light apology and noted that she would let housekeeping know. When I responded to her, she had blocked my email. Good location. Nice room. But the overall experience was tainted from the get go. I gave 6/10 on hotels.com before discovering the additional fees and management's response to it.

Very Good Hotel

I must say this hotel is like no other Radisson. This must be their boutique version. It was great in numerous ways. The rooms were fantastic, chic, modern. The lobby, decor and restaurant were equally great. The location is great as well. Further it was on the cheaper end. I would definitely stay here again.

Disappointing on may levels

Not ADA compliant at restaurants and bar, small room, and music so load difficult to think. Bill jumped from 576 to way over 800 for a 3 night stay! This is very disappointing. We had to get a remote since our room was missing it. Etc. etc. !!!!!!
