We have just left this amazing resort. Firstly every employee is amazingly friendly helpful and attentive. The food is amazing. The activities are all easy to work out and the split for adults and kids spaces works. Allows everyone their peace. For a family with young kids this is the resort to go to. Wish there had been a few more teens but that was what it was. Waterskiing wakeboarding pedalos all tried Thank you we will be back The views peaceful and stunning x

We stayed over the Christmas / New Year holidays in 2016. They were winding down ready for their winter closure but this didn't make a difference. Apart from one of the restaurants being closed and the "beach" not fully set up (we weren't about to have a dip in the lake in December anyway....) the staff were attentive and the atmosphere was relaxing. The food was fantastic, whilst the choice was a little limited all of it was delicious and the restaurant staff were brilliant. Always at your side but discreet and not over bearing. The Spa was a welcome area to relax in and the resort has a very clever system in place to ensure that areas are "child free" for a proportion of the time that it is open. We didn't venture into the steam rooms or saunas but they seemed popular (its a Finnish sauna and so swimming costumes are not to be worn, wasn't really our cup of tea). Regardless there was still plenty to use to relax. The room we stayed in on our first visit was a junior suite and was set back toward the top of the resort. It was peaceful and even though it was right next to the lift it wasn't too noisy, The lounge and kitchen areas were clean and tidy and the bathroom and bedroom well appointed and also clean and tidy. Housekeeping do a good job and I really couldn't fault it. The grounds are well kept and it was nice to have a walk around the resort taking in the winter air, we even ventured to the beach and found it to be a lovely little area. The location on Lake Lugano is just perfect. The trip down to Lake Como is very easy and the ferry across to Bellagio is just at the bottom of the mountain road. We love to travel around and explore in our hire car and so it was a perfect base for our trips to Como and also to pop across into Switzerland. As a former hotelier I find it hard to relax when staying in hotels and I also tend to be over critical, I just cannot criticise this hotel. It was so good we had to go back.... So when the re-opened in March we came back and had just as wonderful stay. The room we opted for was a standard room and we were a little disappointed to start with, but only because it wasn't as large as we were expecting. It was still very comfortable with a nice seating area by the windows onto the balcony. It was overlooking the reception area and so tended to be quite noisy with people coming and going to the spa and bar areas but to be honest it didn't really cause us any major issues. The rest of our stay was the same as before, relaxing, attentive staff and just a nice place to come to and relax. The weather was kind to us on both visits and we really enjoyed both the grounds and getting out and about around the lake. We had such a nice time, we will definitely be going back again by the end of the year hopefully.

I stayed here with my girlfriend on a road trip from the UK down through to Siena. We chose it for the location, on the lake, some peace and quiet and a little bit of luxury. We were not disappointed. The room we had overlooked the lake (junior suite) and was clean, comfortable, nice shower and bathroom. The staff were just fantastic.. consistency across the board from check-in, to breakfast/lunch/dinner in any of the various restaurants. They simply could not do enough for us and that showed very clearly each time you interacted. They have an adult/quiet pool which is glorious - albeit a little cold! But that was nice in the heat. The spa is glorious... a beautiful area with a large pool, Jacuzzi, steam room, saunas, tropical showers... absolutely stunning and well maintained. Each restaurant served wonderful food and wine, some more fine dining, some more relaxed for families...but all absolutely class. Breakfast was a fabulous spread in the main area, and even though we turned up at the last minute each day, the floor manager made us feel more than welcome and ensured we were looked after. I really can't speak highly enough of the hotel, the grounds are beautifully maintained too. But really, the staff were just wonderful. A special mention to Miriam and Sara, the former going out of her way to organise a special evening for my partner and I, and Sara always wearing a smile and helping at any moment.

We loved our stay! The resort is beautiful and the rooms and facilities are fantastic. The staff was very nice and helpful. Resort is marketed to families with small children, but it was fine for our "adult" family. Plenty of options for both families and couples and even seniors. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay on Lake Lugano.
