Rude customer service

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 20 hours ago

The hotel is nice but Cyn at the market spot to get sodas was very rude. We walked up to get a drink. For a minute she walked around randomly like we were not even there. All I had on the counter was a Diet Coke and she slapped a we will return shortly sign down in front of me and said I’ll be right back instead of taking the 30 seconds it would have taken to check me out then run her errand. We waited over 10 minutes and when she returned just more attitude and no apology…

Decent stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

The resort was great overall, and every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. The only drawback was the hot tub, which seemed far too small for the size of the resort and the number of guests staying there. My family and I save throughout the year to take a vacation, so we understand that certain amenities come with additional costs and that you often get what you pay for. However, I was disappointed that guests must pay to rent an umbrella on the private beach while also being charged a resort fee. In my opinion, beach umbrella use should be included as part of the resort amenities, especially considering the additional fee already being collected. One nights stay really adds up after mandatory valet, nightly service charge and umbrella rental. Despite that concern, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the welcoming atmosphere and excellent staff

Excellent family beach vacation resort!

A perfect 4 nights and 5 days with the family that includes 2 kids under 11. The white sandy Clearwater beach right across is the best I’ve been to. The pool and movie night each day was great for the kids. Great service and friendly warm staff throughout made our stay very memorable!

Beautiful hotel directly on the beach, but don't expect an amazing experience.

The pool is very crowded and you can't get a chair/anywhere to put your stuff down after 8am on the weekend. The hotel is directly on the beach but has the audacity to charge guests extra to use the beach chairs/umbrellas ($30 per umbrella). Our suite this trip was a 'standard view' (inland) and the live music from surrounding restaurants was quite loud until well after midnight. Being a suite, there was a kitchen - but the freezer was broken and the hotel never followed up with any solution after I informed them. Staff is friendly and the location/building are beautiful. It's Clearwater, I guess this is about as good as it gets. I wish we could look forward to a wonderful vacation stay on our yearly visits to see family, but Sandpearl just didn't deliver a real resort experience. Premium mediocre.

Great vacation

Easy to maneuver with kids or older adults bc it isn’t too spread out, but it still has a nice resort feel and you don’t have to leave. Family friendly for sure with activities for kids. There are a lot of restaurants in the immediate vicinity too.
