Sandpearl Resort

This was my third time to this resort. I brought family along this time. First, the positives. The resort is beautiful. The location is wonderful. The restaurants are very good. There is a concerted effort to cater to the guests. There is an attention to detail here that has to be experienced. Sadly, this trip ended on a bizarre note. On our last nighSadly, this trip ended on a bizarre note. On our last night, my wife and I came back from dinner to our room. Someone had been in our room and there was a large circular wet stain on our bed. This was after our maid had clean the room. We called to management who sent up a housekeeping supervisor. This man was completely inept, although the sheets were changed as well as the blankets. This property has never really addressed the fact that somehow there was an intruder in our room. Why someone would come in our room and do this, how they came into the room, when they came into the room, and any other details regarding this incident remain unaddressed. Beside this perplexing issue, our room was never really cleaned well during the week, there was the day when a rag was left in the room and another day. All of our pillows were left on the floor. The water was terrible, and even though I had mentioned this nothing was ever done. Of equal concern was the attitude of the Hotel staff. These people were quite rude and unaccommodatingOf equal concern was the attitude of the Hotel staff. These people were quite rude and unaccommodating. I do not appreciate that, especially at this price point. Overall, we had a nice time, but I’m not certain if I want to return in light of the circumstances which we encountered. I rented three rooms here for a total of 19 nights. I just thought that the Customer Service would be much better. But then again, truth is stranger than fiction.

4 out of 5 stars. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely return. The only reason I didn’t give a full 5 stars was our experience with dinner at Caretta on the Gulf. We dined there one evening and found the food to be mediocre at best. The dinner menu was very limited, and we felt the prices didn’t quite match the portion sizes. Because of that, we chose to order food in for the rest of our stay. We also weren’t fans of the billing policy requiring the check to be split evenly among the party. This meant that if one guest ordered significantly more than others, it impacted everyone else’s bill and overall dining experience. On a positive note, breakfast was excellent, and the lunch options by the pool and beach were great. The staff was excellent, everything was extremely clean, and we truly enjoyed our stay. If we return, we’ll come expecting to either order in from other places for dinner again or explore other restaurants in the area. It would be nice to have better dinner options at the hotel to create a true full-resort experience, allowing guests to fully relax on the property without needing to leave or arrange takeout each evening.

We always stay at the San Pearl when we visit Clearwater… Best beach, hands-down, beautiful facility, and very nice personnel …worth the extra money

We are repeat customers and have been nothing but pleased with the hospitality and kindness of the staff at this resort. It has become a magical place for my kids. The front desk staff was also accommodating and friendly.

What treat visiting the Sand Pearl. Service is phenomenal from beginning to end. We can’t wait for our next visit truly creating lifetime memories there.
