Sandpearl Resort

We just left a fantastic 5 days at Sandpearl! As a mom of an 18 month old, things I appreciated/noted: - the 1 bedroom suite said city view but still had a water view of the other side(?). Some traffic noise but better than expected. - complimentary mini crib and high chair to use for the week - accommodating staff at the restaurants - complimentary puddle jumpers and noodles/boogie boards for the walk-in pool and sand toys for the beach - non-slip pool area that didn’t get too hot under your feet - fast valet service - dinner at Tates was easy, tasty, and not crowded compared to everywhere else we tried to get into in the area - shuttle service wasn’t used but the bellhop thought they had car seats (would confirm) - nice clean bathrooms for the pool and beach with changing tables - $28 breakfast buffet at Carettas was a great value and we could skip lunch that day The hotel was booked with a conference and sports teams that weren’t using the pool, so we didn’t run into any issues with chairs at the pool. The pool was probably only 25% till the week we went (1st week of March). The resort area was crowded but the hotel was perfect. The pool water was a perfect 82 degrees, thought the ocean was too cold to swim in (as expected). The pool didn’t get direct sun until about 10 AM though (before daylight savings) so 11 AM per spring/summer hours. Note that the reserved beach chairs are close to the hotel, but too far back from the water to watch young kids. I’m assuming the area in front of the Sandpearl chairs is public. Some days there were lots of love bugs swarming and other days we didn’t see any. Not sure why so inconsistent, but they were certainly a nuisance, though they don’t bite. They’re all over Clearwater/FL(?) though, but something to be aware of. They didn’t bother us in the pool but were swarming around our food/the chairs. Personally I can’t enjoy outdoor dining/relaxing when I’m shooing bugs away! Will definitely do more research on that before coming back, since early March isn’t even prime season for them. The shampoo and conditioner did not work well for my hair, so I would recommend bringing your own. I had bad hair days and it left my hair knotty. The pillows were actually not pancake flat for once and didn’t leave me wishing I had my own! We can’t wait to go back when we can use the Ridleys kid club amenities!

Came here for work and it was amazing! Great staff, amazing food and beautiful views. Highly recommend.

Amazing stay feel the thoughtful arrival and smooth check in. We had an amazing stay. Get the breakfast buffet, too! Central walking distance to local shops and restaurants but you don't even need to leave the property. Directly on the beach. Make sure to get the family Sunday photo shot shoot by the hotel, taken by Mauricio and his wife. Amazing shots!

My stay at the Sandpearl Resort was one of the best trips I have ever taken. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, and they really went out of their way to make me feel special. This trip was for business, but I will definitely be coming back with my family soon.

Gorgeous beach front property & wonderful staff. The resort is truly a gem!
