Reviews for Sandpearl Resort
I booked a stay at this resort through Booking.com in June. I cancelled the next day, over 4 weeks in advance of the stay. It was clear from the Booking.com terms that this was a free cancellation. They nonetheless charged $428 when I made the booking and a month later, despite acknowledging to Booking.com there should be a full refund, and even provided a specific date for the refund (last Friday), they still have not made the refund. They are either frauds or inept.

We had yet another delightful experience at The Sandpearl this past weekend. The resort is situated directly on Clearwater Beach and the views are unsurpassed. Friendly valet greet you as you arrive and helpful bellman make you feel right at home. The resort's lobby welcomes you with beautiful views of the Gulf of Mexico, sugar white sandy beaches and tall, happy palm trees. Every resort team member smiled at us from the cocktail server to the housekeeping staff. In my book, happy employees equal a well cared for hotel. We loved our experience; sunbathing poolside with delicious chairside lunch, to drinks and dinner at Tate's and watching incredible sunsets from the fire pit as we roasted marshmallows. We will be back!

We booked a last second trip. The hotel is fantastic. We booked the 1 bedroom suite with an ocean view. Fantastic views of the sunset and of course nothing like waking up to the ocean. Full kitchen. Full size refrigerator with stove and oven. We had Lunch at Tate's, where we had the grouper sandwiches. Both were tasty. My drink of choice this weekend was Painkiller. ššš Gorgeous beach and it's just great to be able to walk out with the kids. Good pool as well. Didn't feel overcrowded to us but we live here in Florida. For breakfast, we went down to Caretta's. There was a choice of A la carte or the buffet breakfast. Staff were super friendly. Chef on duty made delicious omelettes and waffles. All in all, it was a great weekend for us. Beautiful, clean room, good restaurants on site and a good beach. We don't want to leave. Did I mention they have a Starbucks in the lobby?? šš If we make it back out to Clearwater for a weekend getaway, this will definitely be our accommodation of choice.
Overall, we had a great time at the Sandpearl. The property is beautiful and in the perfect location. We had a one bedroom suite, which was perfect for our family of four. Housekeeping was great about replenishing towels, bottled water, and even laundry detergent for the washer. The breakfast buffet at Carrettas was fabulous too! What impressed me the most though was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The concierge and shuttle service especially! They activity desk by the pool also great with providing towels and toys for the kids. However, if you want seats at the pool, you better be there early. Like before 9am. This was frustrating, as there was a lot of seat saving going on. People will put towels out early and leave. The resort says they remove stuff left longer than an hour, but I didn't see that happening. Also, there are no coolers or outside beverages allowed! We typically vacation on Hilton Head Island or in San Destin and have always packed a cooler for the beach/pool. Here you are on the hook for food and drinks from their bar/restaurant, so be ready to spend! Ultimately this is a nice resort on a nice beach, but Clearwater beach itself has too much of a college spring break vibe for me. I prefer the quieter, more spread out beaches like HHI. I would return here for a long weekend, but probably not a full week vacation again.

Our state had their beer convention there and it was fabulous. The staff was very attentive and "Johnny on the spot ". I loved the fact you could walk out the driveway and be in town. A lot of times, the resort is far away from anything so that was a nice touch
