My wife and I decided to spend 4 days in Miami beach area and chose a hotel on Collins Ave. The hotel was fine but the guests were loud and obnoxious, so we decided to move away from that area and did an online search. Ritz Carlton at Coconut grove was fairly priced and offered SO much more, so we checked out and spent three days there. Arriving at the Ritz is like arriving home, big welcome, friendly staff, amazing decor and staff that can never do enough. The location is a short walk from the restaurants, bars, shops and marina. Everything inside the hotel as perfect as your would expect the Ritz to be. If you are staying in that area, you would be crazy to stay anywhere else especially when it is priced so competitively.

I had the pleasure of staying at this property for 3 nights. The hotel staff found out it was my birthday and made it a very special trip. It wasn't just Wade, Paul, and Aurelien that made me feel welcome, it was everyone I interacted with. The rooms were extremely clean, the gym, pool and spa were updated and the food was amazing. There was also a shopping center and marina around the corner which was nice to walk around. I have nothing but nice things to say about the property and the staff.

All the hotels in this area are expensive, so if you aren't a regular Ritz customer, you should be in Coconut Grove. The hotel was only a few dollars more per night that much lower quality hotels and everything was exquisite. If you are a regular Ritz customer, this one has some of the best service of any I have been to around the world.

Clearly would have been 5 stars if expectations were for a "normal" hotel with lower prices...but Ritz is expensive. Check in was great. Valet was fast, and Tess at check in was perfect. The bartender, Diego did a fantastic job with the drinks. Breakfast was also superb, food very fresh and tasty with some of the best coffee I've had. My only complaint was the service at the pool. I have no complaint with the with server, he did a great job and was as attentive as he could be. Unfortunately there was just one of him so everything took a lot of time. We would have eaten, drank quite a bit more if someone had been able to come by and ask!

I stayed at the Ritz in Coconut Grove for three nights. Gorgeous hotel, pleasant and professional staff, very welcoming environment. Delicious food, fast room service, attentive to every need. The gym is well equipped. The atmosphere in the lobby bar is special. An easy walk into town and a variety of restaurants and shops.
