I had always wanted to stay at the Broadmoor and for my birthday my husband surprised me with this trip! The grounds of the Broadmoor are gorgeous, truly impeccable. We stayed in a premier room in the west building and had a view of the mountains, great room! We enjoyed the paddle boats, the spa and fitness center and many of the restaurants, all of which were great with the exception of one which I reviewed separately ( La Taverne) . The employees greet you with a smile and a hello as you walk by them and they could not have been more helpful if you needed anything. There were a few hiccups but nothing that really negatively impacted our stay. One day our room was not cleaned even though we had been gone all day and left the green service button on. It wasn't a big deal, we just called housekeeping and it was done when we left for dinner. There was also a mix up with my spa appointment, on our itinerary from the front desk it showed a different time than what the spa had, it was worked out and my facial was amazing. The Sunday brunch was also exceptional. I would definitely recommend a stay at the Broadmoor!

We came here to see the hotel and have a late lunch. We chose the steakhouse off the lobby, and were seated in a glass roofed room off the main dining area that is used at dinner. What a wonderful room! Lots to see, plants and trees inside, a beautiful setting for a lunch. The wait staff and the entire hotel staff was very attentive and friendly- even saying hi and asking to help as we passed on escalators! Valet parking is free when you visit, and the lunch prices were quite reasonable. I will definitely return.

My husband received a trip to the Broadmoor as a reward for doing well at work. It was an amazing experience. We loved the ambiance of the place, and the service was exceptional. We were there in the fall so the pool was closed but we enjoyed walking around the pond and grounds.

We were here for a business conference that caters to families. We had another outstanding stay at the Broadmoor - the service is as everything should be at a five-star property, helpful and friendly without being obsequious or snooty. A special shout-out to Sid and the door crew for extra help with my elderly parents in calling the shuttle to transport them around the property and always being so nice and friendly. It's a beautiful, historic hotel, and a pleasure just to sit in the public spaces and admire the decor and artwork. The service of everyone at the hotel is outstanding.

My flight to Colorado Springs was cancelled. I immediately called the Hotel to notify them I would not arrive until the following day. The Hotel was understanding and advise that I would not be charged for not arriving that day. When I arrived at the Hotel I again explained the circumstances and the front desk advise my deposit would be applied to my account and not forfeited. The next day i requested a printout of my bill to verify the credit was applied. It was not. The front desk again assured that the matter would be corrected. At check out the credit was still not applied, yet for the fourth time I was assured the matter would be corrected. I provided two documents clearly indicating the payment and receipt of the deposit. Again I was promised the matter would be corrected and a confirming email would be sent. It has now been two days and no email and the charges remain "pending" on my credit card. At issue is a little less than $500.00. This is an expensive Hotel that adds 20% to all dinning charges. They are more interested in guaranteeing receipt of their funds than proper accounting. I encourage you to closely monitor your bill and postings. I have been given no alternative but to contact the Colorado Attorney General and file a complaint for consumer fraud and theft by deception.
