Horrible Service - Mountain View Restaurant

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

Property is great. The service in the Mountain View Restaurant is absolutely horrible. Server on Day 1 accused us of trying to get a free breakfast soon after we sat down and went as far as to say we gave a "false" room number on our bill. That was totally incorrect, and then the server refused to apologize and was extremely rude after realizing her own mistake. The manager did nothing. On Day 2, the same server was whispering to our new server who proceeded to ask us for our drink order. Then she refused to return to our table. My wife had to get her own coffee while the server watched. The only interaction we had with her was when she slapped the bill on the table and said, "Here" and walked away. On the way out, we asked the server why she acted this way toward us she raised her voice and said to talk to her manager because she would not "deal with us like yesterday". She was not even involved the previous day and still had NO reason to be so disrespectful. And what did the manager do this time? Absolutely nothing. Based on this second incident, we checked out of the Presidential Suite a day early and spent our money at a competitor's resort.

Great for a "Stay-cation!"

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

This lovely resort is a great place for vacation and/or "stay-cation" I attended an event at the Broadmoor and stayed at Cheyenne Mountain Resort. The views were amazing, the shuttle drivers were super professional and kind and, when the power went out because of a storm, the resort had staff at each building making sure everyone was ok. Definitely a beautiful location.

Beautiful and Comfortable

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

Spent 5 nights here in April as part of a work trip. Great resort and facilities. Room was large and comfortable, with great views of Cheyenne Mountain and the lake. Staff were friendly. Gym was amazing. Enjoyable sitting outside with with a drink and enjoying the views. Only negative was time to get food in the bar was over a hour a couple of nights. And the small cafe/gift shop gets really busy in the mornings when people want a coffee and cheaper option for breakfast.

Major let down

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

Called ahead and was told they had indoor hot tub then we booked room. Once there it’s closed for 2 weeks for maintenance. Lost power in middle of night could not do anything at resort but sleep in hot room and leave. No coffee, breakfast, did not get to use any of the resort.. nothing… should have stayed at cheap motel….
