Stretched across a destination flocked to by the American elite and European gentry, your stay at Albergo Terminus is the start of an exquisite escape.

At Albergo Terminus the quality of your experience is key: five-star dining, a superlative wellness program, and the surrounding community enhance every aspect of your stay. The property's fitness facilities include a gym area with top-of-the-line equipment, and quaint sauna and massage area where reflexology, and traditional relaxation techniques are employed to rejuvenate and restore. Situated in the heart of Como, Albergo Terminus is a short distance from Roman, medieval, and modern monuments, including Museo Archeologica, the world-renowned archaeological museum, and Museo Storico Garibaldi, a museum dedicated to General Giuseppe Garibaldi. Less than a half-mile from the hotel, the Ferrovie Nord Milano Railway Station whisks you off to bustling Milan for a day amidst the beauty of one of the largest cities in the province. Wonderful period hotel very relaxing close to all that the lake and Como have to offer. Special mention to all the staff from the reception and the breakfast employees who run a fast and efficient service, great choice of food and al delivered with a smile. The young lady that cleaned our room 204 worked so hard and nothing seemed too much trouble for her I hope the management recognise this. We hope to come back soon and enjoy this beautiful hotel right on the lake.

Incredible - on the one side to the hotel there is a piazza that has a street performer with an amplifier who plays until 11:30 and on the other side closer to the restaurant/bar there is live music until 11:00ish (no notice or warning). It's not every night - but you don't know until you hear it. In your room. While you are trying to listen to something else. It is THAT loud. I guess it's too bad for you if you need to be up early the next morning to catch a train or a boat. This hotel is beautiful and clean and centrally located - but they just miss "the boat" on the basics! I mean - why do you book a hotel if not to sleep - right?

Classic hotel. Very clean with helpful staff. The room we were given was small with steps into the room and up to the bathroom. the bathroom (shower - no bath) was a reasonable size and clean but the actual bedroom was very small. Breakfast can be eaten outside or inside and the choice was adequate - hot food cooked to order for an extra charge. You can sit outside in the garden area in the evening and have drinks and snacks, which is pleasant.

This is not for you if your looking for the large groomed modern European style hotel, though if your looking for a classic agent hotel you have it here. We stayed here in April for 4 nights and had a great time. The rooms are slightly smaller than a lot of place we have stayed in but the style makes up for it. The room has all have what you expect and the bathroom we clean and a an average size. The hotel is self is beuitfull and it felt like something out of a 1940s movie. The staff were all very friendly and couldn't do more for you. Brecfast was ok, not the biggest selection I have seen but I believe that's normal for this part of Italy but still it was all delicious and of a good quality. The hotels restaurant looked nice though we eat out most nights we did have drinks in The hotel one night which were expensive even by Italy standards but we did get a massive platter of snacks with the drinks which makes up for it. The hotel is very near of the train stations and is on the water and located just where you want to be.

The hotel is well renovated, some rooms small, but bathroom etc while modern is kept in the style matching the house, which was first built about 100 years ago by a rich Milanese family. If you do stay here, you should pay the extra for the lake view rooms as only then you get the full advantage of being right next to Lake Como. A special mention goes to the young man and young woman serving breakfast. They were very friendly and very fast. The breakfast buffet choice was very good.
