Reviews for Hotel Villa Flori
This is a great gem on the outskirts of downtown Como. It's right on the water with amazing views and the staff was really attentive. Our luggage had been lost and they offered to take over the correspondence and followed up until it arrived. The rooms are nice and we had a little balcony on the water. It's probably a 30 minute walk into town, but the path goes along the water, so it was nice. Taking a cab to town cost about 10 euros. Overall a great little spot!

We loved this hotel! Rooms that face the water have full floor to ceiling glass with nice size balconies. Literally on the lake and a wonderful view. The room was average in size and immaculately clean. The hotel is a few minutes walk to the Tavernola water taxi stop making it convenient for exploring around the region and other towns. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast room was lovely with options to sit outside and enjoy the view and a nice assortment of food options (baked goods, cereal, eggs, toast, yogurt, fruit, cheese & meats). The only area for improvement from our perspective would be the dinner restaurant. Food and service for dinner was just ok but not great. Our second night we ate in Cernobbio a neighboring town which is walkable from the hotel and it was divine. Overall a wonderful experience though and we look forward to staying again next time we’re in the region!

The hotel was right on the water but it cost around 10 euros to get to the town centre every time. The view was totally breathtaking so I guess it worth to pay the taxi when we needed to go to the town. However, the room size was small as it was supposed to be a suite for us. The size was more like a double room. But we had a very large terrace facing right at the lake. We could just sit there all day to admire the view. The hotel and the towels were very clean and nice. The amenities were very good. However, the hotel was situated on the main road and could be a bit noisy. The bed was super firm and pillows and blanket were alright. We couldn't expect too much as it's a 4 stars after all. The front desk staffs were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was okay for a 4 stars. Overall, I am happy with the hotel.

After travelling from Milan to Lake Como we were met with very welcoming staff and shown to our room which was great with a beautiful terrace overlooking the lake. As the shower was over the bath there was a bath mat supplied and coffee and cups, milk etc. provided. Unfortunately day 2 all coffee cups disappeared, as did the bath mat, milk, face washers and coffee. Upon requesting these items from the bar we were charged 10 Euros for room service? We wanted to attend dinner at their restaurant on night one but were told that we had to make a booking but no such notice was provided. We found a lovely restaurant not far away taking a taxi and had a lovely traditional Italian dinner. We managed to book the dinner on night two and after seeing the menu decided on the Beef. Unfortunately Australian travellers, beef is not what we are accustomed to in our great country. After much carving and showmanship we were served a very poor imitation of a beef sirloin steak which cost a bomb. All in all it was a pleasant way to round of our stay at Lake Come.
