Charming hotel in the heart of Coral Gables

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

I used to live close by and always wanted to stay at this hotel. Now that I live elsewhere, I had the perfect opportunity while visiting friends. The hotel is small, unique, extremely clean, and everything I wanted it to be. There’s so much charm in the details. My room also had an incredible shower. (See pictures.) The person at the front desk is professional and kind. I will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Little gem in Coral Gables

Very nice boutique hotel with European flare, great location if you want to be in the Coral Gables area. Excellent restaurant. You can walk or take the free trolley to go move and there are lots of restaurants near by. I would definitly recommend this hotel

Charming and surprisingly new.

Don't be fooled by the external old world charm. This boutique hotel offers plenty of new ameneties inside. The rooms are spacious. The furnishings are new. The beds are very comfortable. The staff is very pleasant. Especially the helpful gentleman operating the classic elevator day and night. But, you should know, there is no parking offered by the hotel. The surly valet outside is only for the restaurant. You will have to park in the private lot across the street or on the street in metered parking. And the restaurant is expensive and not recommended for a quick meal. You can easily find other dining options on Miracle Mile. We enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Love this Quaint Hotel

When we go to Miami, we always stay at the hotel, Saint Michel. We have stayed at other places and always come back to this and feel it’s “home”.It is extremely clean, the staff is superb, and the accommodations are immaculate. The rooms are not big, but they are comfy. It is very close to downtown Coral Gables, and it’s easy to get around to find places to eat. We found a little fitness center on site this year that we hadn’t seen before. The place and the price are just right. There is a parking lot across the street. — another plus.

Old world charm in Coral Gables

This was our first stay at Hotel St. Michel and it was very enjoyable. Friendly and helpful staff, charming and comfortable room, great location (walking distance to many restaurants) and a lovely Italian restaurant on site. A few things would have made it perfect, like a soap dish/caddy in the shower and a mini fridge and safe in the bedroom. Overall though, a lovely place to stay.
