This is our second visit to this hotel and it was great again. The staff in the restaurant, and the quality of the food, make this hotel the special place it is. Thank you for taking care of us again. Delighted customer.

I have never written a review before but after my stay at the Grand Hotel Savoia I thought it would be wrong of me not to given the exceptional service and quality we experienced. I cannot understand how anyone can give this hotel anything but 5 stars!! Location is perfect. Quality is perfect and the staff are exceptional. A big thank you to the Paolo and Tatiana on he concierge desk and to Marco and Michela at reception / reservations and Edwardo the ski guide, and to all the staff that made our stay exceptional. Thank you very much Looking forward to our next stay with you.

We stayed here for a four day break over the weekend, with friends. The hotel was based a few minutes from the centre of town which was perfect, the service was top draw, the rooms really comfortable and the skiing really made it a special visit. Great food and fun and patient staff, we couldn’t have asked for more, the variations of dishes on the menu were thoughtful and well delivered, plenty on the wine list I think we tried most! All in all a job very well done, thank you.

Stayed 4 nights half board junior suite. Good: Friendly staff, staff spoke English, easy to book transport to from Marco Polo airport, welcome chocolate & prosecco, dining staff attentive, easy to hire ski equipment, convenient location to town, room reasonable hygiene Bad: Week day maid very lazy at cleaning room: didn’t clean or take away used plates, didn’t fold bedding neatly, knocked all the shoes around at the front door despite them being laid neatly by me. The weekend maid was much better. The hotel car which takes you to the ski lifts costs 20 euros: many other ski resorts wouldn’t charge this. The buffet breakfast lacks variety. The dinner was ok . I think the chef was trying to be creative: A+ for trying. The ski hire room smells bad. I’ve been to resorts where they can fix this so I don’t feel it’s something I have to accept as normal.

This hotel is centrally located and it's close to the city shopping walk with plenty of great stores and a good number of great restaurants. The hotel is well kept, clean and the staff is very friendly. is attractive and breakfasts we had there were very well thought, presented and with a huge variety of choices. We did not have any dinner there, but I've heard they are highly rated. Went there with my son and we thought it was one of the best hotel to stay in Cortina. Recommended also if you go with kids.
