Dromoland Castle Hotel

Great amenities, but the real heart of the experience in staying at Dromoland Castle is the staff. They are the most genuinely nice, pleasant and professional that I've ever experienced. The facility is excellently maintained. The Falconry experience was engaging, informative and a fantastic adventure. Thanks to Mack, the hawk and his handler Jack!! Food was excellent and top quality. Highly recommend a stay here!

Beautiful property on wonderful grounds

My mom and I spent one night at Dromoland Castle and I'm not sure how real life is supposed to feel normal again after that. The grounds are something else entirely. You could spend a full day just wandering and never hit the same view twice the lake, the gardens, the ruins tucked into the landscape like someone placed them there on purpose a few centuries ago. Which, of course, they did. The falconry experience was genuinely one of the most memorable things I've ever done. Watching a bird of prey work the speed, the precision, the complete indifference to being impressive is humbling in the best way. But the person who made the trip was Denis. He is exactly what great hospitality looks like warm, knowledgeable, attentive without hovering, the kind of person who makes you feel like you're the only guests who matter while clearly being the reason everyone feels that way. If you get the chance to interact with him, you'll know immediately what I mean. Dromoland earns everything it's known for. It's not just a beautiful place — it's a place where you actually feel something. For one night with my mom, it was perfect.
