Savour your first glimpse of this majestic castle and its enchanting lake, as you pass through the castle gates. This was the ancestral home of the O’Briens of Dromoland who were the Kings of Thomond and whose lineage goes back 1,000 years to Brian Boru, the only High King of Ireland.

Our stay was fantastic. Duty manager Darragh and Colleagues went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. Dinner was exceptional, the whole experience was great. Well worth a visit.

From the moment we entered the gates of the estate on Thur until we left on Sunday lunchtime we had the best holiday of our lifetime. Staff were so friendly and helpful across all pats of retreat, golf course was in exceptional condition for this time of year, the room was ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, the variety and.quality of the food was some of the best we ever had

Top class from start to finish. They have thought of everything and you don't need to ask for anything! From the gate to departure, everyone was so friendly and welcoming

A group of life long friends had a wonderful Afternoon Tea experience at Dromoland Castle Hotel recently. Dennis O'Neill and staff made the occasion exceptional. His professionalism, attention to detail, and great sense of fun made our day so enjoyable and memorable. Dennis anticipated our every need and we really got the five star treatment. We have even planned to make this an annual event and are looking forward to visiting again and meeting Dennis. He is a gem in the crown.

The castle and grounds are beautiful. However, it is the way the staff made our kids feel special and welcomed that made the trip for us.
