Stayed here recently with my boyfriend and I have to say it was made truly amazing in every way from friendly helpful staff, fantastic surroundings, delicious food and our room was beyond beautiful. Would strongly recommend this hotel, it isn't cheap but definitely worth it for an occasion!

This resort is well worth a visit.. The grounds are beautifully appointed and are kept in immaculate condition. The house itself has many beautiful period touches, which are seamlessly blended with all the luxuries one would expect from a 5 star resort. My room was spacious and luxurious. The bathroom was sheer perfection, offering a separate shower area, separate toilet, two hand basins and a glorious bath - perfect for a pampering ritual. Dinner in the adjoining golf club, lunch in the hotel itself and breakfast were all positive experiences. Overall, my experience of this property was such that I would have no hesitation in recommending it and indeed look forward to revisiting at a future date.

Stunning grounds with wooded walking trails and stunning greenery with the Castle remains as the back drop. Hotel has many common area's to relax in elegance, veranda area over looks labyrinth and grassy acreage. Play golf or croquet or just read a book in the garden!

We visited Castlemartyr on a Tuesday night after we booked a room through luxury breaks for a very reasonable price. I will definitely come back and stay for longer. Meal in the bell tower was exceptional. Lovely walks in the grounds pool was lovely. Bar was amazing, so beautiful and the cocktails were amazing. My only complaint would be that service wasn't great at breakfast but I believe the staff were fairly new. Otherwise everything else perfect and still deserves 5/5 imo.

Visited with Tauck tours and stayed for 3 nights. The hotel rooms are beautiful and truly a 5 star level atmosphere. Staff is very accommodating and all needs were met. We had 3 kids with us (12,14,16) and one child with Celiac disease- we had plenty of dining options for everyone. There are walking paths on property including a beautiful castle and ruins of an old Abbey. Just delightful. Ps- dog friendly too!
