Everything about the resort is just top class. The staff are so welcoming and kind, they really elevate the whole experience. Absolute gem of a hotel with fantastic facilities, amazing food and wonderful grounds. Also great location to explore the coast of east cork, the coastline and beach are less than 10 min drive

Castlemartyr Resort is by far the BEST stay we’ve had in Ireland. It is truly top-notch service. From the reservations team all the way through to check-out, the staff really knows their craft. I would like to thank Shannen, the Reservations Manager, for being so accommodating and helpful; Paul from Concierge, who was also friendly and welcoming (the Jameson iced tea was super nice, by the way!) and the check-in team for being so reassuring. Lastly, I would like to thank Trevor Sheehan, the Guest Relations Manager, who was present all the time. It’s the little things, like remembering us, that left such a great impression. He was even helping the breakfast team during a busy Sunday rush. He was so lovely and even helped fix a little mix-up with the room. He was so friendly to all the guests and really genuine in his job. The food was amazing too, and the service from all the staff was excellent. A special mention to the accommodation team for keeping the room clean throughout our stay. It truly felt like home, and I genuinely did not want to check out. We hope to come back soon! Thank you for such a memorable stay.

This was our first holiday with our six-month-old twin boys, and we were a little apprehensive about how it would go. We needn't have worried — every single person we met at Castlemartyr went above and beyond to make our stay as stress-free and enjoyable as possible. Particular thanks to Jerry and Zabir for the warm welcome and the lovely send-off, both of which were hugely appreciated. We'll be back.

Currently sitting in the relaxation room, after having a wonderful facial, massage and scrumptious lunch in the brasserie. We are a party of 4 celebrating a big birthday for my Mum. I must say that every staff member has gone over and above and exceeded our expectations. A special shout out to Conan in the Brasserie who was brilliant to us at lunch, Carol and Danielle our therapists and all staff who made what was already a wonderful day even more special, thank you, we will must certainly be back.

Just generally not a five star experience we had a baby and felt we just weren’t supported at all with very small requests
