We booked a room at the resort last minute due to an issue with the accommodation we had planned to stay in (allergic reaction to cleaning products). Not only were we given a special last-minute booking rate, we were upgraded to a manor house room. This place is first class all the way, and, best of all, no allergic reactions to cleaning products! One of the best mattresses we slept on in Ireland, and a bathtub you could drown a horse in. Breakfast was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed strolling the grounds and playing with the giant Jenga in the garden.

After reading a couple of mixed reviews on here about this place, I'll be honest I nearly wasn't going to book but I'm really glad I did. This resort is the definition of 5 star luxury. Everything from the room, breakfast, pool, bar and food at the Bell Tower restaurant was top class. The staff were very attentive and always on hand to make sure we had whatever we needed. Cannot recommend it highly enough!

Very very impressed by the royal treatment given to my mother and aunts at lunch last Friday. I had let the hotel know that it was a special occasion and they really went above and beyond to make sure they were treated like royalty. They were given the best table in the house, complementary cocktails on arrival, delicious food and complimentary macaroons when leaving. Their every need was thought of and management made a lovely fuss of them and made it all feel very special. Five star service at its best!

We were blessed with the weather and the generosity of the management as we were upgraded for our tenth anniversary. Staying in the old part of the hotel was beautiful. The Knights Bar did a wonderful lunch and coffees and we spend a lazy afternoon walking the beautiful grounds before going to the spa. The water in the swimming pool was super soft and we were able to sunbathe outside taking in the amazing gardens. Dinner at the Bell Tower Restaurant was followed by cocktails at the Knights Bar and all in all was a lovely way to wind down in the evening. The terraces are lovely and the decor is traditional and sumptuous. Our room was amazing, so spacious and the Nespresso was a lovely touch. The staff are very friendly and I would highly recommend this hotel for a romantic break

Old world charm in a tranquil rural setting. Large luxurious bedrooms, King sized bed fit for a king. Very pleasant staff, who went out of their way to promote the features and services of the hotel. Old stately manor with opulent interior and furnishings. Worth every penny!
