Stayed for a birthday celebration. Really nice hotel. The check in staff were so friendly and helpful with recommendations for our stay. Also very welcoming concierge. Room was really nice, very spacious with a beautiful bright bathroom and bath. Hotel was very clean. We especially enjoyed dinner at the Canopy restaurant, really nice food, excellent service and relaxing athmosphere. We weren't at all rushed to clear the table even though had an early dinner booking. Breakfast was also really good. There were lovely yearlings in the paddocks around the hotel and nice walks in the garden.

We recently stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and from the moment we drove onto the grounds, we knew we were somewhere special. The setting is absolutely stunning, with beautifully maintained landscapes and a wonderful blend of historic architecture and modern luxury. The welcome we received was exceptional. Every member of staff was friendly, professional, and genuinely warm throughout our stay. Our room was fantastic, with a beautiful view overlooking the golf course, and it provided the perfect place to relax and enjoy the occasion. The food and drinks were top quality, and both the terrace and the Knights Bar are wonderful spots to unwind and soak up the atmosphere. Every aspect of the experience felt thoughtful and first class. A special mention must go to Brendan Comerford, General Manager, who went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. His attention to detail and personal touch made a real difference. We'd also like to thank Jerry at Concierge, who was an absolute gentleman; friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our visit. Although this trip was just the two of us, we will definitely be returning with our children. They will love the incredible artwork and sculptures displayed throughout the hotel, which add so much character and interest to the property. This is truly a best-in-class 5-star hotel that delivers on every level. We left with wonderful memories and are already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended.

Check in was guick and the room was lovely. We ate in the Canopy bar the first night, service was very slow food just ok chips were terrible- we thought we were just unlucky and trusted the restraunt would be better so for night 2 we booked the Canopy restaurant when we arrived at the restraunt there was no booking the manager said they should have a table shortly we said not to worry we can go back to the bar have another drink they said they would get us when the table was ready. After 40 minutes my husband went in to the restraunt to see what the story was - he was told the table was ready, no one had come to get us. Service was very slow and the food very disappointing and cold. This was a weekend away to celebrate my husbands birthday.

We recently stayed at Castlemartyr Resort on a 3-night break. Unbelievably friendly staff, who simply couldn't do enough for us (and our dog, who came too). Excellent accommodation - clean, bright and spacious. Food was superb onsite and also in the local pub (owned by the Hotel). Great value and a really nice vibe about the place. Thank you to all at Castlemrtyr!
