Check in was guick and the room was lovely. We ate in the Canopy bar the first night, service was very slow food just ok chips were terrible- we thought we were just unlucky and trusted the restraunt would be better so for night 2 we booked the Canopy restaurant when we arrived at the restraunt there was no booking the manager said they should have a table shortly we said not to worry we can go back to the bar have another drink they said they would get us when the table was ready. After 40 minutes my husband went in to the restraunt to see what the story was - he was told the table was ready, no one had come to get us. Service was very slow and the food very disappointing and cold. This was a weekend away to celebrate my husbands birthday.

We recently stayed at Castlemartyr Resort on a 3-night break. Unbelievably friendly staff, who simply couldn't do enough for us (and our dog, who came too). Excellent accommodation - clean, bright and spacious. Food was superb onsite and also in the local pub (owned by the Hotel). Great value and a really nice vibe about the place. Thank you to all at Castlemrtyr!

Don’t waste your money on a spa break. You will be hugely disappointed. Golf and walks and a lovely room is what you will get as not all bad. But for that spa experience, go elsewhere.

We stayed in The Orchard lodges again. This is our third trip to Castlemartyr Estate and we are already arranging to book next year’s trip. The staff make Castlemartyr what it is. They are warm, welcoming and attentive. Each and every one of them goes the extra mile. We love the tranquility of the estate. It’s a total escape from normal life. The grounds are stunning. With peaceful walks. The accommodation is beautifully appointed with everything one might need provided. We love The Knight’s Bar most of all for a quiet drink in splendid surroundings. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality during our family holiday.
