Attended the resort in April for a wedding, which was amazing. Shared a twin room which was stunningly luxurious. The staff were absolutely fabulous in every area of the hotel. Unfortunately a purse with nearly £200 was left behind in our room but it was handed in immediately, fully in tact and promptly posted back to me in the UK - just outstanding service and integrity of the staff and I can't thank them enough.

Great Treat given a gift voucher for 2 nights in this beautiful resort which included afternoon tea on Sunday. We we’re absolutely gobsmacked from the reception to the room to the great breakfast each morning and the wonderful friendly staff made us feel very special.Only little quibble was it was a long walk to our room. I will know next time to request a room nearer the entrance, which I hope will be very soon.Afternoon tea was excellent and served in a beautiful setting overlooking the gardens.Dont miss.

My husband and I attended Castlemartyr Resort for an occasion, first off the drive up to the resort is beautiful and gives you the feeling that this resort is going to deliver on its five stars. Check in was straight forward, our room was lovely and the bathroom was fab. Everything was in working order, there was a lovey patio, with a table and chairs if you wished to sit outside, however on the table there were balls of tin foil with fag butts, which had been left from previous guests ( not good ). The occasion we were attending was lovely and we had a great day, there was an accident at the table with one of the waiters and this would lead me to believe that a little more training would not go astray to perfect five star waiting service. Finally would I rate Castlemartyr as a five star Resort sadly no, but would be deserving of four stars.
