Enjoyable stay
Just back from a 2 night stay in one of the suites. The room was a very decent size with an outdoor patio area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had some issues and the deputy manager Ruan resolved these for us to our satisfaction. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic Stay
Fantastic experience at Castlemartyr hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our four nights there with family. The hotel made it so special for our two year old daughter. There was a cookie with her name on it left in the room and she loved the little horse teddy she was given on arrival. Staff were friendly and helpful. Gerald went above and beyond to ensure our stay was one to remember. The grounds are beautiful.

Nice Resort made for Families with kids
Very nice and good Resort. Very kind personal and very clean and good facilities. For adult couples who want to have an calm and comfortable stay not to recommend because it is a huge family hotel.

Disappointing
A bit disappointing, stayed 2 nights here in one of the houses, clean, comfortable and beautiful surroundings, however we decided to have food in the club house and booked this a few days beforehand, on the day we were supposed to eat we received 2 phone calls explaining the establishment were functioning on a reduced menu due to circumstances beyond their control, upon arrival at the club house we were again informed of the reduced menu and handed 3 handwritten pages with 5 or 6 options to choose from and one page smeared with some sort of sauce or gravy We ordered and received our food but upon arrival my wife noticed quite a large hair in hers, she promptly sent it back and within 10 minutes had received an alternative portion. No allowance was made for this upon paying for the meal. On the Monday morning we were woken by the noise of ladders banging and talking outside at approximately 8:40am, upon investigation I went down stairs to have a nice gentleman standing at the kitchen window outside painting.. Far from 5 star that it claims to be after all we paid €950 for accommodation for approx 36 hours and to be woken by workmen Now don't get me wrong the surroundings are beautiful and well kept but it lacked that 5 star feeling. Upon checking out on Monday morning at 10am we reported our concerns to reception and were informed the duty manager would contact us…To date we are continuing to wait for that contact!!
