We stayed for a night for my birthday. All the staff were extremely helpful and really kind through out the stay. Stayed in a junior suite. Everything about the room was perfect. Had a walk around the grounds while waiting for the room. The grounds were very nice and we enjoyed this. Had dinner in the italian restaurant the food was very good. We really enjoyed the stay and look forward to staying again.

This is a very nice place to come and stay in. It is pet-friendly, which is great. The staff are very good. The leisure centre is really excellent. I didn't eat much in the hotel but what I had was very good. If you like big hotels - its a place to go. Pleasant grounds too though a bit spoiled by the golf course for non-golfers as it limits where we are permitted to walk. Anyway, commendable and I will be back.

My husband and I are just back to the UK feeling totally rejuvenated after yet another wonderful stay at east Corks best asset, Castlemartyr Resort. Half an hour from cork airport and you arrive at the wonderful Resort where you will be treated like royalty. From the service to the surroundings its faultless. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Firstly Id like to start by saying I rarely put up poor comments on a place I stay but this in my opinion, others may feel im wrong but its what I thought on the day We booked a suite for 4 girls to celebrate a big birthday and I emailed ahead of same to ask them to put a welcome note/basket or something in the room, We arrived checked in etc and got to the suite to find 2 chocolate strawberries on a plate saying happy birthday, we enjoyed this laugh as we had hoped for maybe a few more strawberries, for a 5 star hotel I would expect more The room was fine but one major thing was there was a desk in the room with wires hanging down and covered with a thing you would have at home to cover wires again not what you expect in a 5 star, We were booked in for dinner and this was good and after dinner we went to the bar and had to leave due to the cold and as we walked back to our room down the hallway we were all shivering with the cold AGAIN not right for a 5 star. Breakfast was again good with a good selection but my over all take on the hotel was over rated for what you pay for one night I emailed hotel to point out the cold on the night we stayed was told manager would revert back to me.. 9 days later Im still waiting for a reply Over all Id expect more from a 5 star hotel
