We’ve just come back from an incredible family stay at Castlemartyr and as always it was just so so good. We travelled as a family with three boys from Dublin, and from the moment we arrived, it felt special. The setting is simply unbelievable, beautiful grounds, woodland walks, and so much to do in the wider area. The golf was superb. The course is in fantastic condition considering all the rain and a real treat to play, I managed to get out more than once during the stay, which was a huge bonus. Meanwhile, the kids absolutely loved the pool. It is a highlight of every trip as the pool is incredible. The food was class from start to finish. Creamy pints, cork food, fires, chicken wings etc etc we loved it. There’s also so much to do locally, which made the trip even better. Short drives to so much for the lads, fota, yougal, kinsale, Lealys farm, ballycotton etc etc But what truly made the stay at Castlemartyr exceptional was the people, especially Trevor who we would love to say thank you to. From the moment we arrived, he greeted us so warmly and remembered us from our previous trips. He couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. My kids love rugby and were so excited by the 6nations and he made it so special the whole weekend. Nothing was too much trouble, and he genuinely made us feel so welcome. It’s rare to find somewhere that works so perfectly for both adults and kids, but Castlemartyr absolutely delivers. We left relaxed, happy, and already talking about when we’ll be back. Highly, highly recommend. Thank you Trevor and all the staff who were so nice to us and our kids.

Great Hotel, everything was great. Food & service was exceptional. A special word of thanks to Trevor ( Guest Relations Manager) who went far and beyond to ensure an enjoyable stay. He’s a credit to the Hospitality industry.

Staged in the Castlemartyr a couple times but have to say its get better and more beautiful every time we stay in the hotel. I would like to say a big thank you to Trevor and the helpful staff in the hotel. Especially Trevor who has this warm welcome to you the guest and every other guest that comes in the front door of the hotel as if he is welcoming you into his own home.
