Fantastic Visit Undermined by Underwhelming Dining
I had an amazing experience overall during my stay—the service, atmosphere, and amenities were all impressive. However, the dining experience left me disappointed. The portion sizes in the Canopy restaurant were surprisingly small considering the premium pricing, and the menu felt very limited. For what you pay, the value simply isn’t there. We actually found the bar to be a much better option, with a wider variety of dishes and the ability to pay for exactly what you want. The old saying “quality over quantity” became debatable in this case. Spending around €100 and leaving only half-full and unsatisfied shouldn’t be the norm for a restaurant of this standard. Additionally, while the Head Concierge eventually addressed our concerns, the issue could have been handled more promptly and with more attentiveness. I truly enjoyed the overall stay, but I hope the dining experience is improved, as it currently doesn’t match the otherwise excellent standards of the property.

A Truly Special Stay with Outstanding Service
Our stay at the Castlemartyr Resort was truly special. What stood out most was the outstanding service. Every member of staff we interacted with was professional, warm and genuinely attentive. You can tell that guest experience really matters here. The team made us feel welcome from the first moment and went the extra mile in a very natural way. The resort itself is beautiful and very well maintained. Terre was a real highlight during our stay, both in terms of atmosphere and quality. Castlemartyr will always be a very special place for us and we are already looking forward to coming back.

Luxury, relaxing
From the time we arrived we were meet from the car by Luc who was helpful and very welcoming. Checking in with delt with Lars who checked us in promlty and was so warm and chatty. So nice to have the rooms ready early. Luc met us at are gourgous, clean and spacious rooms with the bags. We went to go to the hunted hog where they offer a car to drop and collect us by Gerald. From the knights bar and the delicious meal in the canopy restaurant are experince was faultless. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff and we were very well looked after by Luc, Lars and Gerald. We will be back to stay again.

Fantastic Experience
An incredible hotel. Everything about this place is 10/10. Food.... spa....leisure centre.... gym..... rooms.... cleanliness.... professionalism and friendliness of staff. A must visit
