Birthday stay!
Me and my partner stayed here for his birthday in July for only one night and it was such a gorgeous experience! If you’re looking for a special treat and relaxing time this is the place to go. The staff are all so welcoming, friendly and warm the receptionist - I wish I got her name she was dark haired and young and had gorgeous nails and to all the bar staff they were so kind and helpful. Housekeeping, the porter who dropped us up to the room every single person we encountered were so friendly and welcoming. The room itself was gorgeous, spacious and had the sun coming in. The beds are extremely comfy and the rooms have aircon as you know we had the heatwave! They also left a little note and chocolates for my partner :) We also went to the thermal suite in the evening of our arrival and the next morning and it was so relaxing and so easy to access from our room. This hotel was such a special treat for us & would definitely return as a treat again!

Wedding Anniversary Stay July 2026
Fantastic stay for a wedding anniversary. All staff were absolutely fantastic - reception, concierge, Monks Bar, breakfast staff were all excellent. Vitality suite was relaxing. Monks bar is a great place for a drink and a small bite. Proximity to Killarney National Park is a difference maker too

Lovely hotel
This was such a lovely hotel and setting to spend a couple nights in after our wedding to really relax and unwind! The rooms were beautiful, and the air con was an added bonus in the hot weather! The food in the colgan was tasty either generous portions and we can’t fault the service if the staff, so attentive!

Luxurious and relaxing
Lovely overnight stay at Muckross park hotel, been there quite a few times and keep going back. Our room was beautiful, the hotel was quiet the night we stayed so we were upgraded to a junior suite which was really appreciated. The spa is as a spa should be, very chilled and relaxing . We also had a nice meal in Colgans ( the hake was fab) and a few drinks in Monks lounge after dinner. Keep a look out for a deal , the hotel often does a good one to include a meal or spa access in the room price 😉

My wife and I just returned from a 4-night stay at Muckross Park Hotel & Cloister Spa. This 5-star hotel lived up to its rating in every regard. The suite we stayed in was just beautiful and with the extra sitting area above the entrance, my wife commented that she felt like a princess. The Cloister Spa was exceptional and we enjoyed the service there on several days. All of the international staff - from the doormen, front desk to wait staff - were pleasant and helpful to any issue. We ate dinner at Blue Pool and Molly Darcys pub - 2 of 3 on-site resturants. The staff at the was especially helpful with the wine selection as we celebrated our anniversary one evening. The food was absolutely delicious at both places. The hotel is right across the street from walking paths, jaunting carts, and the Muckross House in Killarney National Park. All in all, we absolutely recommend this hotel and would stay there again in a heartbeat.
