Bliss
A short taxi journey outside Killarney town, Muckross Park Hotel and Spa is bliss. Lovely generous bedrooms with the usual standard amenities. Spotlessly clean throughout with plenty of spaces to just sit and chill. My spa treatments were wonderful, especially the outdoor seaweed bath. Bliss. Staff are extremely courteous, professional and friendly. Food was fantastic from breakfast to lunch in Monk's Lounge to fine dining in The Yew Tree restaurant. Across the road from The National Park, and a bus stop into town, its ideal for both a relaxing and revitalising trip.

Stayed at the Muckross Hotel in August 2026 and couldn't fault the service from the greeting at reception to the fine dining restaurant, to the breakfast/coffee kindly packed up at 4.30am on the day we left. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Enjoyed Muckross PArk Hotel
Hotel is in a great location (adjacent to Killarney National park with lots of nature trails and other activities for a family with young children). We stayed in the self-catering Reserve apartments which are roomy and comfortable. We ate at Colgan's pub both nights we were there - good food and music. Would definitely recommend for family groups.

Couldn’t speak more highly of our stay
Although a short 1 night stay in Killarney.. we left the Muckross Park Hotel feeling relaxed and recharged. We had the most restful stay with a superb breakfast, super comfortable rooms and an exquisite visit to the spa facilities. Would definitely stay again !

My wife and I just returned from a 4-night stay at Muckross Park Hotel & Cloister Spa. This 5-star hotel lived up to its rating in every regard. The suite we stayed in was just beautiful and with the extra sitting area above the entrance, my wife commented that she felt like a princess. The Cloister Spa was exceptional and we enjoyed the service there on several days. All of the international staff - from the doormen, front desk to wait staff - were pleasant and helpful to any issue. We ate dinner at Blue Pool and Molly Darcys pub - 2 of 3 on-site resturants. The staff at the was especially helpful with the wine selection as we celebrated our anniversary one evening. The food was absolutely delicious at both places. The hotel is right across the street from walking paths, jaunting carts, and the Muckross House in Killarney National Park. All in all, we absolutely recommend this hotel and would stay there again in a heartbeat.
