A fab weekend spent in Muckross Park and the National Park Killarney
We parked the car on arrival and didn’t get back into it for three days – that says it all. Muckross Park Hotel is perfectly located, directly across from Muckross House and Killarney National Park. Muckross Abbey with its incredible ancient yew tree is just a five-minute walk, and ten minutes further along the lake brings you to Muckross House with its stunning gardens and historic rooms. For those fit enough, you can walk from Muckross House all the way to Torc Waterfall entirely through the National Park and back again – all starting right from the hotel. The staff are exceptional: genuinely friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The rooms are beautifully laid out and extremely comfortable. We’ve stayed here many times over the years, which says everything. A huge thanks to Filip and the entire team for making yet another visit so special. We’ll be back again.

Awesome hotel
We had a very nice stay at the Muckross Park Hotel & Spa. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was nice and spacious, very clean. We also really enjoyed the hotel pub, Monk's Lounge. It was a great place to unwind after a busy day. The bartenders were very friendly. We also ate one night at Colgan's and the food was great. They even had live music which kept us there longer than planned. We also enjoyed the morning breakfast. Will definitely come back next time we are in Kilarney.

Great place to stay
This is a very nice hotel. Just outside of town. Staff is fantastic! Rooms are clean and comfortable! Breakfast was delicious and served quickly if you ordered hot food.

Cosy vibes and exceptional service
We stayed at MPH for three nights for a wedding. We were really impressed by the cosy vibes, service, food and drink, and the rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. We visited the spa and both received fantastic massages (though not for the faint hearted!). They were incredibly accommodating with my gluten and dairy free dietary requirements, particularly at breakfast both in the room and restaurant. A great spot too to enjoy exploring Killarney from. Whilst not our usual style of hotel, we couldn't fault MPH and would love to return! Thank you to those who made our stay a memorable one.

My wife and I just returned from a 4-night stay at Muckross Park Hotel & Cloister Spa. This 5-star hotel lived up to its rating in every regard. The suite we stayed in was just beautiful and with the extra sitting area above the entrance, my wife commented that she felt like a princess. The Cloister Spa was exceptional and we enjoyed the service there on several days. All of the international staff - from the doormen, front desk to wait staff - were pleasant and helpful to any issue. We ate dinner at Blue Pool and Molly Darcys pub - 2 of 3 on-site resturants. The staff at the was especially helpful with the wine selection as we celebrated our anniversary one evening. The food was absolutely delicious at both places. The hotel is right across the street from walking paths, jaunting carts, and the Muckross House in Killarney National Park. All in all, we absolutely recommend this hotel and would stay there again in a heartbeat.
