My husband and I stayed here for several days earlier in September and it was a wonderful experience. This is a beautiful luxury hotel set against the stunning backdrop of Killarney National Park. The hotel's attention to detail is superb. The spa experience is lovely, go have a massage and then soak in one of the big outdoor tubs. Rooms are spacious and bedding is soft and comfortable. Showers are the best. Hotel, spa and restaurant/pub staff are friendly, professional and accommodating. The food was so good we ate every meal there; bread and soups were delicious, and breakfast had everything anyone could possibly want.

Colgans bar on Sunday 7th September 2025 the bar man had no communication skills. He cleaned his glasses for five minutes while my daughter and I sat at the bar waiting for two glasses of wine. After five minutes he put two alcohol menus in front of us with no manner or words. We were the only customers at the bar. After ten minutes the same bearded young barman muttered something and charged €20 for two nice wines. I have never in my life received such bad service. Also, my chicken curry was very spicey, and difficult to eat. Major downside is there was no lighting to get back into the hotel. A real Health and Safety issue from Colgans bar to our reception Muckross Hotel.

From being greeted by Shane and Patrick to having dinner two nights in a row at Colgins, & having the pleasure to meet Dean and Katelyn and really the whole team over at Muckross, our experience was fantastic! The rooms, spa, breakfast all exceptional. Thanks to all for a great 3 days!

We stayed in one of the adjoining apartments for a wedding in the hotel. The apartments were really nice and well catered for. In the main hotel over the course of the stay, service all round was excellent, the staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The food was also great and everyone seemed to have had a great experience. I would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I just returned from a 4-night stay at Muckross Park Hotel & Cloister Spa. This 5-star hotel lived up to its rating in every regard. The suite we stayed in was just beautiful and with the extra sitting area above the entrance, my wife commented that she felt like a princess. The Cloister Spa was exceptional and we enjoyed the service there on several days. All of the international staff - from the doormen, front desk to wait staff - were pleasant and helpful to any issue. We ate dinner at Blue Pool and Molly Darcys pub - 2 of 3 on-site resturants. The staff at the was especially helpful with the wine selection as we celebrated our anniversary one evening. The food was absolutely delicious at both places. The hotel is right across the street from walking paths, jaunting carts, and the Muckross House in Killarney National Park. All in all, we absolutely recommend this hotel and would stay there again in a heartbeat.
