Loved the service overall. Good location. Lower balconies not as great. All the heavy pillars ruin view if you sit in a normal chair. You need a tall chair which is not too comfortable. And they feel dark due to all the heavy cement above you too. Upper levels have more open balconies. Go for the higher suites. Our studio was OK. Old worn out bedding, bed etc. Bed had deep indentations in it where many have slept. It was kind of creepy that way. Ceramic floors pretty dirty. Weird lay out as well. I felt like the owner was cheap and doesnt spend money on new pillow covers etc. Some towels looked dingy and no longer really white. Everything else was clean. Kitchen didnt have a lot of stuff in it but staff gave us more. Laurie was very good. made sure we got everything we needed. The gym equipment was gross. We cleaned it off and the carpets were so dirty looking. It all looked very worn out. Needs an update. I might stay there again in the upper levels and if the gym was updated. We like to workout and were not thrilled with that gym.

We absolutely love this place and were so fortunate to return for our wedding anniversary. We had to stay other places our last few trips due to booking too late and nothing compares to this place. It is still just as beautiful and comfortable as it has always been. We were upgraded this trip and can't thank the staff enough they are always so welcoming and wonderful. Everything is always perfect and laid back. We got to try the new Drink bar next door and had a couple sunsets there still the best Bushwackers in town! Thank you Grande Bay we will see you guys soon! <3

My family of 5 stayed in a 2 bedroom suite that was absolutely perfection! Two adjoining balconies with the view of Cruz Bay. The location was like a postcard! Close to wonderful bars like Drink and the Dog House, Low Key Dive Shop (one stop shop for all your needs), shopping at awesome places like VIBE Collection. Dawn was awesome and was so accommodating with setting us up in a Jeep rental and making sure our day excursions were scheduled as requested. The amenities were wonderful...washer/dryer, full kitchen, balconies and back patio. Fell asleep to the sound of local music. A rare occasion when reality exceeded expectations!

Situated in Cruz Bay all of the units are facing the water so you can watch the ferries and boats come and go. The bars and restaurants are just a few steps away and the whole town is easily walkable. The resort is nice and well maintained. Our unit 7-301 was well maintained and had everything we needed for the week except snorkel gear and beach chairs! The unit came with a dedicated parking spot in the underground garage. To enjoy St John you will need a rental vehicle and the resort offers them as well as a number of places in Cruz Bay. For our family of 5 we found it cheaper to search Orbitz until a deal popped up for a Wrangler or similar SUV at STT and we got a Jeep Wrangler 4 door through Budget at the airport for 319 for the week. With a $50 round trip on the car barge from Red Hook to Cruz Bay and a stop at Cost U Less on St Thomas we found that to be the more economical and more convenient way to do it. The resort is well recommended with the pool and hot tub which never gets crowded to the electric grill on the balcony. Grande Bay has everything you could want or need.

Just returned from a week at Grande Bay. We loved the view of the bay and the close proximity to the restaurants and shops in Cruz Bay (only a 3-5 minute walk). Our flights were delayed 3 days due to airline disruptions from bad weather but Dawn was great and she accommodated us with no problem. I would recommend staying at Grande Bay especially if you like to be close to Cruz Bay and all the wonderful restaurants.
