Relaxing patio and beautiful surrounds

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 8 months ago

Enjoyed a refreshment in the beautiful patio surrounded by peacocks and a wandering tortoise. Parrots perched nearby. Worth a visit with or without a meal. Pleasant service and very relaxing. Nice oasis within the city of Cuernavaca. Very enjoyable!

Not Really impress with this place

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed March 27, 2023

This place discriminates just because you don’t have the proper attire as soon as enter the door … I have been eating inside before and not really impress with the food or service , BUT I had some friends that wanted to visit this place and we were rejected..

Good restaurant but the hotel and service does not worth the price!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed March 10, 2023

I recommend the restaurant and its staff- very good quality. But I don’t recommend the hotel. The staff at the checking and check out desk is not professional. Each time I asked a service they told they will come back to me but never did it. The beds in the room 7 are just horrible, 2 separate beds when I reserved a large one for a couple. The mattress were fatigued you fall in one side or other . I explained it at the check out, the lady told me she will check immediately then let me go without any explanation. I am from France and I know château hotel service, this one does not really worth it. The gym room is open from 8am to 8pm?!! You can’t workout before the breakfast like in many hotels in the world ….. and closing at 8pm it is to early… To much expansive for what you have….

Relaxing stay with great food and drinks!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed February 27, 2023

Once you enter to the hotel, you cannot hear the noise and traffic of Cuernavaca. It's a beautiful and peaceful place. The gardens are well maintained. Exotic birds are everywhere, and they add more beauty to the place. They have two pools; one is located at the spa, but both are peaceful places ideal for enjoying the sun, reading a book, and sipping a drink. No people made noise or splashed loudly at the pool. The food at the restaurant is delicious. They have a wide variety of plates. All the staff, waiters, bellboys, receptionists, valet parking, and spa staff are always willing to help with a smile. Even the gardener was willing to answer my questions about some plants. I traveled with my parents, that are old and slow. Everyone was very patient with them. Also, my teens felt safe around the property day and night. The rooms are rustic, colonial style, and clean, and upon our arrival, they had a basket with fruit, cookies, and macarons. The massage at the spa was excellent. Linens were clean, and the room was zen decorated and had a pleasant eucalyptus smell. We had three lovely days, and we hope to return soon.

Elegant Oasis in Cuernavaca

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed February 17, 2023

Our experience was a 10 out of 10. Las Mananitas impressed from the first and never stopped. From our warm greeting at reception to the moment of our departure we found the whole experience...enchanting. The welcome cookies in our room, the sheets that made us want to stay in bed all day, peacocks and tortoises roaming the property, cocktails under the stars, exquisite meals, the glorious gardens and landscaping, the spa experience, the pool. We felt as if we'd been transported to old Mexico with a bit of old Hollywood glamour thrown in for good measure.

Cocinar Mexicano is an experience no one with a zest for learning Mexican cuisine should miss. The classes are well thought out and geared towards all levels of cooking knowledge. The entire program has a wonderful balance of time for classes, exploration and relaxation set in a magical village that leaves you wanting to make another visit immediately to hear the sounds and take in the aromas of Mexico at its finest.

We are still in a state of euphoria over our adventure with Cocinar Mexicano. This remarkable program combined a beautiful location, high level teaching skills, simultaneous Spanish/English translation, a fine kitchen facility, and lots of tender loving care. Now that we are home, we are paging through our recipes and photos, celebrating once again a superb learning experience.
