This hotel is the best choice in Cusco. Great location, beautiful historical/colonial decor, and very good amenities. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and beautifully designed, combining modernity with colonial character. Breakfasts are very good, with a variety of food. A very strong point of the hotel is the perfect and very helpful service—special thanks to Antonio who assisted us in the restaurant.

Place that made our stay special

Our stay at Aranwa boutique hotel was exceptional. Above all, the place is stunning; adorned with art pieces and museum exhibits, combined with gorgeous interior design and thoughtful planning, it’s a pleasure to explore on its own. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever seen in my travels. The rooms are comfortable and equipped with all the necessities. The service is top notch — all the procedures are handled swiftly, the staff is always friendly and responsive, and the room service was excellent. The restaurant offers a variety of delicious meals, including traditional Peruvian dishes (which I suggest you try). I’d like to give special thanks to señor Antonio who attended us at the restaurant: he always provided an excellent service, a helpful advice to navigate our journey in Cuzco, and a friendly, courteous conversation. Saludos cordiales desde Rusia ❤️

A Jewel in the Mountains

Aranwa is a stunning little hotel in a lovely area of Cusco. It has an old-world charm with so much polish and care put into preserving its unique architecture and history. Each room is a unique work of art where you feel like you are part of a classical painting and staying as a prestigious guest. Even wandering through the halls of the hotel tells a story of its past that very few hotels can boast of. We stayed at Aranwa very close to Christmas and the holiday decor made this place even more impossibly charming. We came back from our daily explorations to cozy, comfortable rooms that the staff took wonderful care of while we were away. The bathrooms have a luxury all their own and some have heated floors or classic clawed foot bathtubs! Bottled water is thoughtfully provided along with other bath amenities. We'd start our mornings with breakfast from their adorable buffet room. The options are a wonderful, classy blend of iconic Peruvian flavors and dishes with familiar continental/"Western"-style offerings. Dishes ordered from their regular menu were fantastic as well. For those affected by altitude sickness, there was always a station of hot water with coca and muña tea available. We made good use of it during our stay. I can't say enough great things about the Aranwa staff. My family was so kindly looked after and treated with such warmth. The combination of authenticity and professionalism is what distinguishes this hotel from other 5 stars. Whether we needed our astonishing number of suitcases and bags transported or needed recommendations for restaurants or directions, they were graciously there to help. I was unlucky enough to catch a bad cold while we were exploring Cusco which had me bedridden for an entire day. The staff kindly brought chicken soup to my room in the evening followed by some gentle warm porridge with fruit the next morning for breakfast. I was very touched by how considerate they were. Thank you so very much, Aranwa staff. I think my family is in agreement that our time at your hotel was one of the major highlights of our trip and likely one of our favorite hotels that we've had the pleasure of staying at. It is a special place with so much character and charm thanks to your dedication and care. We wish you all the very best. I hope we can return someday!

This charming boutique hotel is so cosy and quiet. The staff is welcoming. The location perfect, in the very heart of the centre. What i particularly enjoyed were Benedict eggs for breakfast. Perfect pleasure. The best I have ever tasted.
