Conveniently located in central Cusco, Aranwa is a charming customer-focused hotel. A 500+-year old structure, initially the home of a local bishop, Aranwa is museum-like with its architecture and original religious statues, paintings and sculpture. Hotel is easy walk to town squares and churches. Stay also includes buffet breakfast. Most importantly, its staff is outstanding, providing extraordinary customer service. When my husband and I had a medical problem, the staff (Raul, Ivan, Emerson, etc.) worked tirelessly to provide assistance; this was extremely meaningful since we were unfamiliar with local services. To minimize my stress, one staffer even gave me some ice cream. šŸ˜Š Can't praise them enough.

Machu Picchu is simply AMAZING and MAJESTIC! The Accommodations and STAFF at Aranwa Cusco were just the same. From the minute we arrived, we were treated like family. The decor is like visiting one of the cultural museums and the service is exemplary. The buffet breakfasts offered a wide variety of local foods and everything was so fresh. Highly recommend staying at Aranwa Cusco as your every need and want will be taken care of. We even knew of a guest who was struggling with altitude sickness and they kept a close eye on them - even extending a room to get better in after his stay ended as they needed to just sleep. You can't go wrong staying at Aranwa Cusco. Simply put, how many hotel places could you name multiple staff members day's after a stay? They had that big of impact on us.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 days as part of the Machu Picchu tour. The hotel is luxurious and comfortable, and minutes walk to the Main Square and other places of attractions. They also included buffet breakfast which was good. The room has a spa in the shower room, but we didn't use it. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Cusco.

Using Peru for Less our outstanding tour guide Alisha Thompson booked this spectacular boutique hotel for my husband and me! We spent 3 days at the beginning and our last night in Peru in this enchanting antique filled museum that offers the best in service from its staff! Always there with friendly services were the staff including:the doorman Isidoro, the hotel management and staff : Emerson,Ivan,Giussepe,Will,Fredo!! We felt like family being wecomed into the private homes of the most courteous staff. We were upgraded our last night there to an especially grand suite full of art and antiques but every day and night was fantastic. The charming bar near the peaceful water fountain in the courtyard and the breakfast buffet were favorites! The location is perfect to enjoy the fine restaurants and sights and shopping of Cusco! We also enjoyed an interesting and fun cooking class where we prepared our delicious native dinner after shopping with our well informed chef in the local market. Our every expectation was met by this experience in Cusco! Thanks to Alisha Thompson and to the Aranwa Boutique Hotel!!

Excellent service, interesting antiques, bathroom is great, heated floor, heated towel racks, extra oxygen. Good coffee, which oddly is hard to find in Cusco. I don't want to type the required200characters.
