When rating hotel there certainly multiple criteria to consider. All of the staff are well trained, professional, extroverted and anxious to help in anyway -- great people. Secondly the property is a historic treasure that has been well maintained - quality of place. Thirdly, the location if you are a walker is ideal ,within a block of Plaza Regocija and two blocks further to reach Plaza de Armas. If you are interested in the local culture, the main plaza is good start. For us this was the heart of city, excellent restaurants, shopping, historical sites, such as the Cusco Catheral. We never did catch our breath, but what an enjoyable city. As they in real estate, location, location, location. Lastly the price/value equation works.

beautiful room, extremely helpful staff, very responsive to issues (multiple rooms w/ no working a/c). brought us oxygen when we were feeling very sick from altitude sickness. breakfast was delicious. they kept our luggage while we went on the inca trail (although the storage room made our luggage a little dirty). overall EXCELLENT hotel. would recommend to anyone

This hotel was an old mansion that has been restored and converted to a hotel. The passages and rooms are filled with spanish colonial art and furniture. The rooms were excellent with extremely modern bathroom, ours with a spa as well. The food was good but the breakfast was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for Adolfo. Actually nothing was too much trouble for any of the friendly and courteous staff. If you want a change from sterile modern minimilist hotels then aranwa cusco boutique is for you!

The staff was amazing, everyone went out of their way to make sure our stay was memorable. Whatever we needed, they were right there to help. We had a late flight and they were very helpful in allowing us a late check out. Breakfast was very good. We enjoyed the artwork and the coca tea. The location can't be beat, walking distance to everything, yet the hotel felt very peaceful. I can not say how much I appreciated how well we were treated during our stay. This is the only place we will stay when we return to Cusco

This hotel is a converted Bishop's home from the 18th Century. Filled with Spanish art, it almost qualifies as a museum. As a matter of fact, they offer tours. The service was exceptional. We were upgraded to a large room with high ceilings directly over the lobby. The location is great, only three blocks from the Plaza de Armas. Many nice restaurants are close by. Treat yourself and stay at this place!
