What was once a 16th-century colonial mansion is now the supremely luxurious Aranwa Cusco Boutique Hotel. A part of the LVX collection of Preferred Hotels & Resorts, the hotel is situated in the heart of the city. This sophisticated retreat is just steps from Plaza de Armas, Cusco's main square, and provides an authentic taste of local culture with its original paintings, sculptures and other fine art.

The hotel is such a great location! The restaurant in the hotel is amazing! Antonio was our server each day and night - unbelievable! He was so great with our group and extremely polite and friendly!

Beautiful hotel conveniently located near the Plaza de Armas in the heart of Cusco. Comfortable and clean rooms, excellent breakfast, interesting art on the walls, and a friendly staff that surprised me with a cake first thing in the morning on my birthday. A wonderful experience.

A hotel that’s also a museum. Very spacious and beautiful room. Staff also amazing. Edy Arapa in particular went out of his way to assist us. Highly recommend this unique place.

We spent two nights here before doing the Inca Trail. It’s a beautiful old boutique hotel with a pleasant courtyard and an excellent breakfast. Our room had a standing balcony, a large and modern bath and was tastefully decorated. Its location was so convenient for walking to all the major sites in Cusco. I would definitely stay at the Aranwa Cusco Boutique Hotel again.

Unfortunately this was the only hotel that we were disappointed with in the whole trip at the price point we paid. The room allocated was on the ground floor next to the lifts and the corridor and had no windows apart from one opening into the corridor and the lifts. The room was extremely small as well but that might be due to the building restrictions. The welcome drink of Pisco sours were nice ( one of the nicer Pisco sours we tasted on the trip) and the location was excellent since everywhere was walkable in Cusco for us. The room and the corridor and lift noise meant we didn't sleep well and this was despite me asking for a room to be away from the lifts and I had no communication from the hotel about this. I was looking forward to this hotel based on all the reviews but left disappointed.
