Steeped with history, this masterfully restored retreat houses the most contemporary of luxuries behind its ancient walls, including a world class spa, gourmet dining, and lavishly appointed suites. Find yourself comfortably adjusted, as your accommodations are enriched with oxygen to offset the effects of the destination's high altitude, and relax peacefully in generously sized rooms. From under-floor heating in the bathrooms, to 24-hour room service, to in-room espresso bars, to complimentary wireless Internet and a fully loaded iPad for use during your stay, your abode at Belmond Palacio Nazarenas does not disappoint. Furthermore, the Incan artifacts, Peruvian marble, and historically inspired décor turn your sense of space into an authentic South American experience. Butler service provides convenience at any moment, as each guest has a dedicated staff member who can help with unpacking, pre-arrival transportation arrangement, and laundry service - and can even prepare you a cocktail as you listen to advice on the area's best places to visit.

Our stay at the Belmond Palacio Nazarenas was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The room was luxurious and impeccably maintained, and the amenities exceeded our expectations. The service was warm, attentive, and truly made us feel at home.

The hotel grounds and rooms exceeded our expectations in every way, and the entire property is beautifully maintained. There wasn't a single thing that called out for attention. The staff is also among the best we've ever encountered. They were kind, thoughtful and attentive, but not in a way that was overbearing or overly formal. We immediately felt at home and were well looked after.

The quality of this hotel does not only reflect in the exquisite rooms and location but mainly in the way they treat their guests. I cannot thank enough the hotel personnel and management for offering such support and care for my family and my husband who unfortunately experienced some very bad symptoms of altitude sickness during our stay there . Everyone was simply amazing !

Had a great stay at Palacio Nazarenas, but the altitude really impacted me. Started off with 2 nights in Urambamba, then 1 night at Machu Picchu so I thought that would be enough to get used to the altitude. For me that was not the case. What didn't help was noise from my air conditioner unit that maintenance could not fix (rattling sound) and what appeared to be noise from upstairs guests. I stayed 3 nights and probably averaged 3-4 hours asleep each night. My wife didn't have an issue, but as a light sleeper I struggled. Stayed in the Inca Suite room 115. I highlight this as all reviews are so positive which i understand why. Staff is amazing. Property itself is like staying at a museum. The actual location can't be beat with so many areas in walking distance. Food at Mauka was the best from all restaurants that we tried. But if you can't get a good night's sleep at your hotel it really puts a damper on the experience.
