The best experience in Cusco. Our Junior Suite upgraded to the Studio Suite upon arrival for free. When we entered the room - no words - it was spacious and so beautifully decorated creating the atmosphere of ancient luxury. Minibar and snacks were included in room’s price. Choice of bath treatment (additional cost), 2 types of bathrobes, coffee machine, safebox, hairdryer, 2 toys-warmers in our bed - impressive. We ordered room service and food was delicious, I think even better than in restaurants around. Not cheap, but it’s worth it. When I come to Cusco again, I’m looking forward to stay at this hotel.

Very attentive and courteous staff. Historic building with all modern amenities overlooking Plaza Nazarena. The pool is nicely heated. Breakfast is OK. We would definitely come back and stay longer the next time.

Our first impression walking into the former chapel for a private reception was wow. That continued when we entered our beautiful suite. Unfortunately, even with air pumped into the room, we were unable to sleep at altitude for our stay there. The location is also very easy to walk to main part of town. The food was excellent and we enjoyed our morning caco tea and evening mint tea.

I was very impressed and happy with my experience with the Belmond Palacio Nazarenas and especially the general management from GM Arturo Schwarz to Xavier and especially Daniel Oliveras too. This is not a cheap hotel--but the quality of the experience is the reason why it is rated so highly. When I encountered a difficulty with my reservation at the Belmond Palacio Nazarenas I reached out to Mr. Schwarz who immediatedly sympathized with the situation and put me in touch with the Daniel and Xavier who help run the Nazarenas so effectively. They helped put my mind at least, and ensured that the situationw as completely resolved to my satisfaction--despite the hotel not being able to make a profit on my reservation. This is what shows to me the sign of a truly high quality "people-first" hotel--that they want to retain their clients (and potential clients) more than just making a buck (or a Sol, in this case!) I look forward to making my next reservation to Cusco with them and would recommend Belmond Palacio Nazarenas to anyone who wants a truly pampering experience!

due to some overbooking the management reserved for us the top suite of the house.. overwhelming luxury and space. unfortunately our time was too little to enjoy thoroughly. compliments. the hotal is a historic site and was a monastery in ancient days. you can feel it everywhere.
