A former palace that is still today worthy of royalty, Belmond Palacio Nazarenas is set in a serene plaza adjacent to the main square in Cusco, Peru. Steeped with history, this masterfully restored retreat houses the most contemporary of luxuries behind its ancient walls, including a world class spa, gourmet dining, and lavishly appointed suites. Find yourself comfortably adjusted, as your accommodations are enriched with oxygen to offset the effects of the destination's high altitude, and relax peacefully in generously sized rooms. Furthermore, the Incan artifacts, Peruvian marble, and historically inspired décor turn your sense of space into an authentic South American experience. Butler service provides convenience at any moment, as each guest has a dedicated staff member who can help with unpacking, pre-arrival transportation arrangement, and laundry service - and can even prepare you a cocktail as you listen to advice on the area's best places to visit.

Hotel Las Nazarenas is a beautiful place to stay in Cusco. The colonial architecture is stunning and full of charm. The restaurant served delicious food, and every meal was excellent. The service throughout the hotel was exceptional—everyone was friendly, attentive, and professional. I truly enjoyed spending the week there. The atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming, and the hotel’s facilities were beautiful and well maintained. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Cusco.

Belmond Palacio Nazarenas gave us the most memorable stay of our lives. As a newly married Peruvian wife, I wanted my Puerto Rican husband to fall in love with my culture, and this team made it happen. Saúl, our butler, was exceptional. He took us on an excursion, taught us Cusco’s history, and answered every question with passion. He’s the heart of this hotel. Front desk walked our senior dog Mona on a holiday when no companies would. Wait staff made us breakfast before opening hours so we wouldn’t tour hungry, and explained every dish with pride. Housekeeping left our room impeccable daily — after long tour days, it felt like coming home. Everyone treated Mona like family. We were spoiled, cared for, and educated. Cusco is magical, but this staff made the magic real. They deserve every award. We’ll be back. Thank you for helping me share my Peru.

Initially I was sceptical when the hotel was described as the place to be in Cusco but in a very short time I came to agree. The building is absolutely stunning, a former convent with so much character and atmosphere. The staff were superb, particularly Gustavo, who bent over backwards to help with all queries and proactively offered advice and suggestions. A fountain of knowledge and fully dedicated to customer satisfaction. The restaurant is amazing. We had a taster menu with wine pairing and had great chats with the very competent sommelier Elvis. We would have liked to stay longer Highly recommended
