Repeated request
Nice hotel, but we requested a room close to the elevator for my wife in heels prior to coming. We reminded them of that at check in. When taken to our room it could not have been further. We came back down with the bags and asked for a closer room and were then given a room "no right next to, but close to the elevator". We went up with our bags and the valet a second time and it was the second room from the end of the hallway. When we logged in to the internet we were asked how our stay was so far and I mentioned this. No response. Every day we got a text from them and I repeated this again. No response. We mentioned it upon check out and with that they gave us a $50 credit. Nice but be mindful about pre-requests.

Rocky Start that ended OK
Terrible check in experience. Many guests waiting until well after 4:00 to check in. Manager was ill equipped to handle the situation. I overheard him telling a woman with complaints that this just happens sometimes in the hospitality industry. The lengthy delays were unacceptable. Hallways were a mess with the cleaning staff trying to turn over as many rooms as they could. Once I got to my room, it was clean and well appointed. Had a little bit of a funky smell, but the rest of the stay was uneventful.

Exceeded our expectations!
The entire stay exceeded our expectations. Everyone was friendly, helpful and so responsive. Our bartender Debra was amazing and is the main reason we will be back! The location is perfect but because we loved the property and the people so much we never wanted to leave. We can’t wait to visit again.

#1 Dallas Hotel
If you are in Dallas the Crescent is the place to stay. We were warmly greeted by Summer the head of room reservations and checked in by Isabel at the front desk. Both made our stay extra special. We toured their private club which is amazing. I have been in many resort/hotels around the world and the Crescent has the nicest, cleanest one I have seen. Fantastic rooms and service throughout our stay. As I mentioned the satff is professional and provides exceptional service. The location is convenient to eveything.
