We stayed here twice in the last month and had a good stay both times. The second stay was better with a quiet room facing over Thomas Ave. The first room was much larger and with a balcony over the pool but despite two doors, it was really noisy on Friday and Saturday nights with the pool DJ til 2am. This room also had a connecting door to the next room and this door could do with some sound proofing as we could hear the entire, lengthy shopping plans of the two ladies next door. The smaller room was very large by any standards. The rooms are very comfortably appointed with great bed and bathroom. Modern decor but with a unique style. It is surprising to me that many other reviewers have raved about the service, naming so many staff and barely any mention of anything else. I personally only want a quick, accurate checkin and not much else, and the hotel facilities and location are much more important to my stay. The service in our case was a bit hit and miss, although the staff were all pleasant. The promised welcome bottle of wine didn't come after two requests, my requested paper only arrived every second day, and the cleaning and turn down service was inconsistent. The hotel itself is well appointed, exceptionally well stocked mini bar, nice bathroom products, and the complimentary shuttle to downtown was very handy, and the gym, pool and spa all good. There is a complimentary cold drink and cookies in the afternoon, as well as a free coffee bar on each floor in the morning. The hotel is in a nice location in the end of uptown that abuts downtown so you can walk to many attractions. There was free parking easily found in the adjoining side streets, and a Wholefoods half a block away. Ascension is a good breakfast or lunch option less than five minutes walk away. All in all ZaZa was a very good choice.

5 stars: Unique decor, outstanding front desk staff and valet, spacious room with comfy finishes and efficient cold A/C. There's a free shuttle (which was an unexpected and awesome amenity) that took us to Klyde Warren Park. I joined the ZIP program which meant a free amenity on arrival - a nice chilled bottle of wine. I enjoyed a fabulous service at Zaspa but stars were lost (see below) too. 3 stars: The food from room service and the Dragonfly was really just average and very pricey. The atmosphere was fun and the service was good. But the food was kind of meh. This was my first time at the Zaspa. I've been to many, many spas and each time I was greeted, given a robe and shoes and then shown the locker room and wet areas of the facility. I like to spend a little extra time in a "quiet room" and shower off after my services. If these things are available at the Zaspa - I never saw a hint of it. At this price point - I would have expected something a little more. Also, on the second night we were left with no hand towels. Turn down service each night was puzzling as they seemed to think there was maybe only one guest? One bottle of water, one side of the bed turned down ...? Net 4 stars! Definitely worth a stay if you're looking for a clean, fun place in Dallas.

WOW!! Every stay out does the last! This hotel is top notch. We checked in later in the afternoon on June 11th and Karina greeted us warmly with a glass of Rose and macaroons. She was so helpful in securing us a beautiful room and making my birthday special! We enjoyed delicious appetizers and cocktails that evening and then a beautiful breakfast the following morning. The concierge and valet were very helpful and left 2 chilled bottles of water in our car at departure. We will never stay anywhere else when visiting Dallas or Houston! We love ZAZA!!!

Stayed here for two nights loved the place. A very trendy hotel but not over the top. Well appointed rooms wonderfully decorated. They have a very nice restaurant which turns into a bar at night. Good location as well. Nice pool area. All the staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful. A very good hotel in an uptown location. A good hotel if you a looking for something a bit different from the chain type establishments.
