Hotel ZaZa Dallas boasts an exuberant style inspired by Mediterranean elegance that dazzles the senses. Its uptown location is a perfect complement to its urban chic design, providing a boutique retreat that is both luxurious and modernly refined. The spaces created for guest rooms have a trendy, loft-like feel, and a handful of concept suites are dramatically themed. Your comfortable accommodations provide the perfect place to linger in the morning or lounge late into the evening, but you may prefer the on-site ZaSpa Dallas as relaxing remedy after a busy day out. This serene sanctuary blends enticing aromatics with sensual sitting areas, treatment rooms and a unique spa menu to help you relax and unwind.

After all these years, Hotel Zaza still remains one of my favorite hotels to stay at! From the minute you are greeted at the front door, the experience of Hotel Zaza is like no other! The team members are always polite and make you feel at home from the time you arrive to the time you depart! The beauty of the hotel inside and out is like no other and all the elements of service exceeds at 10! The food & cocktails are excellent, and the rooms are over the top! I highly recommend Hotel Zaza when you are in Dallas, Texas!

I was genuinely excited for a weekend stay at Hotel ZaZa Dallas, which made the overall experience more disappointing. On balance, I would place ZaZa in the 3.5 star category. For a property positioning itself at a Michelin Key level, however, the experience did not justify the Key they were awarded. Michelin evaluates hotels on architecture and design, service consistency, character, value, and contribution to the local setting. In practice, ZaZa struggles with cohesion across several of these areas. Design & Atmosphere While the rooms are clean and maintained, the interiors feel dated and lack a cohesive aesthetic. Furnishings are serviceable but unremarkable, and balcony furniture shows visible wear. There’s an attempt at theatrical flair, but it doesn’t translate into a refined or elevated environment. (Water pressure, notably, is excellent.) Service Service was polite but firmly mid-tier. Towels in our room had visible makeup stains. Housekeeping did not service the room during our stay, and turndown service was not done. Check-in and check-out were efficient, though entirely transactional. Nothing felt elevated or anticipatory. Value & Positioning At this price point in Dallas, there are stronger alternatives offering a more cohesive luxury experience. On a future visit, I would choose the Thompson over ZaZa. The Biggest Disconnect: Branding vs. Execution Complimentary “sparkling wine” is presented from a Veuve Clicquot cart, yet the wine served was entry-level prosecco poured into plastic cups — a small detail that captures the broader issue. The property signals luxury, but the execution consistently undercuts it. Throughout the weekend, the bar and restaurant spaces were largely empty, diminishing any sense of destination energy. After more than 20 years, the hotel appears in need of thoughtful reinvestment and brand recalibration. I shared these concerns with the front desk at check-out, and the team responded politely and professionally. At present, I would not recommend Hotel ZaZa Dallas to travelers specifically seeking a refined, or Michelin-caliber experience.

My husband and I came here for a weekend getaway and loved it! We travel and stay at nice hotels often and have very high standards. Location is perfect and rooms are comfortable, immaculately clean, and service fantastic. The valet guys really took care of us, helping us with luggage and charging our car onsite. My husband got a massage and said it was incredible. The bar downstairs also has a great wine selection and makes amazing cocktails. We will be back the first chance we get! Thanks for a fantastic experience!

I was part of a business conference held here and would absolutely recommend it to anyone interested. The entire staff (particularly Courtney and Richard) are great to work with. We visited during the big ice storm and they were able to adjust and accommodate a lot of changes due to the weather. I would absolutely visit again- either for a personal or professional trip!
