Reviews for Hotel ZaZa Dallas

Great Stay – Would return. Nice area, good location and really friendly staff.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

The Zaza is in a great location, in Uptown Dallas. It was an easy 15 minute walk to downtown Dallas via the Clyde Warren Park, or in the other direction an easy walk to many eating options. You could also hop on the M-line trolley if you preferred, with a stop pretty a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. There is also a wholefoods supermarket 2 min walk from the hotel. It felt a nice, safe area and we had no qualms walking about. Except for the lady on reception, who was a bit curt, the staff were super friendly and helpful, in particular they guys who run the valet parking and free hotel shuttles within a three month zone. (And that had nothing to do with us parking, a service we only used for the final two days of our 4 night stay – they were just super friendly and helpful guys every time we passed). The pool area was particularly nice and we enjoyed a couple of afternoons sipping a few drinks poolside, lapping up the Spring Dallas sunshine. It was warm, well screened from the road and had a nice chill-out vibe. For a city centre hotel, the drinks weren't overly crazily priced either. (It was also way better than the supposedly super-cool Statler roof top pool, which some blog had recommended to us… the time we went there on the way back from the 6th floor museum, we wished we had used our time more profitably at the zaza). The only downside was our room (which was a standard one) in which the shower door had a major leak problem, constantly flooding the floor, with us resorting to shoring up the gap with towels to lessen the deluge. The hotel must have been aware of it as the room smelt musty as a result, and when we arrived had lit tea-light candles to try and soften things. The hotel was full when we stayed, so there was no point asking for a room change, but I'm sure it would be a relatively easy fix for the maintenance team. Despite that, though, it did not really impact what was a great stay and we would stay there again if ever in Dallas.

An evening at ZaZa Dallas

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

Our experience at ZaZa Dallas was excellent. We enjoyed an evening event and overnight stay. The service and staff were exemplary. Having planned many events, both corporate and personal, I have a high expectation of service and performance. The sales/event coordinator, Samara, was both professional and engaging. She improved our experience with her thoughtfulness and capabilities. She and the staff were available and expedient to address any questions or needs. I would readily welcome an opportunity to work with Samara again and enjoy the amenities of ZaZa’s.

ZaZa Hotels Are The Best!!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

This was our first stay at the ZaZa hotel brand. I have to say it was amazing! The Hotel ZaZa Dallas is beautiful and there is fascinating art everywhere! The rooms are pure luxury. We stayed in the Rendezvous room which we loved with 700 sf of beauty and comfort. The staff and amenities are also wonderful at this hotel. We were greeted with a glass of wine at check-in and delicious cookies each day in the late afternoon. Their Magic Carpet Ride service was the icing on the cake! What a fantastic perk! On this same "pleasure" trip with friends, we stayed at the ZaZa Austin. It was equally impressive! I only wish there were more of the ZaZa hotel brand in other states, as I would always choose this hotel! (fyi: We have been traveling for 38 years with the other couple and have been to many U.S. states, Canada, and numerous countries in Europe, and now the ZaZa's rate very high on my list of favorite hotel stays).

Sip, savor, sleep, repeat!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

The Hotel ZaZa consistently and eloquently delivers across Houston and Austin, and the Dallas location is no different. Luxuriate in a concept suite like Medusa, nosh on caviar deviled eggs, opine under the magnificent chandelier, roll around in the longhorn mobile, or simply frolic in the fountain inspired hot tub. Sip, savor, sleep, repeat! Love ya ZaZa!
