Once the palatial home of a Texas cotton magnate, Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek retains the intimate ambiance of a private residence while providing the highest level of service. This lavish sanctuary is situated on a serene estate in one of the most fashionable neighborhoods of Dallas. You will find attention to detail at every turn, from guest rooms and suites adorned with antiques to The Mansion Restaurant, which pays tribute to the property's historic character while blending contemporary design elements.

My fiancée and I planned our entire trip around having Valentine’s Day brunch here. We literally booked a hotel nearby just to be close to the restaurant. To find out you are cancelling reservations for a full hotel buyout is beyond frustrating. You clearly prioritize private events over your actual guests on one of the biggest days of the year. Offering two glasses of champagne for a future visit is honestly a joke considering the time and money we spent planning this travel. Thanks for ruining our plans.

The Mansion in Dallas is a nice enough venue, but the rooms and décor feel dated and very much from prior years. For the price point, we expected a more refreshed and luxurious experience. The Christmas Eve dinner was especially disappointing. Several courses were poorly executed and felt haphazard, lacking the quality and care you would expect from a property with this reputation. Overall, the meal was not worth the cost. Between the outdated rooms and the underwhelming dining experience, we did not feel the stay justified the expense. Unfortunately, this is not a place we are likely to return to.

What an amazing trip unique site seeing a lot of good people surrounded me at this place. It was super amazing and highly recommended to others.

The Mansion Bat is fun when the Hunter Sullivan Band with Brady Mosher is there ! ! The guitar player is bad ass and he’s cute too . Seating is limited . General cover is $20 pp.

As expected for a property that has been in operation for decades, they do a nice job. Everything you would expect from a “nice” hotel: comfortable, quiet rooms; excellent twice daily housekeeping; great service that balances warmth with professionalism; a fun bar and restaurant that qualifies as a local “institution” and a location that is quiet while being convenient to Dallas, etc. They pull off the trick of making you think you are their most important guest (think Cheers where everyone knows your name). My primary suggestion is that the common areas are stale and need a refresh (e.g., new carpet, paint, deferred maintenance, etc). Rosewood is building a bunch of new hotels globally, so it would be nice for it to spend some money on the brand’s original property. Would recommend and stay again, yet there are certainly newer and more interesting properties in Dallas.
