We spent a couple of days for my wife’s birthday. They provide impeccable service and have an impressive attitude! Always the best! Kudos to Anthony at the front desk on check in who made our trip memorable.

I was told that our room was upgraded. I was disappointed by the actual room but not the grounds. I wanted to love the Ritz but our “upgraded” room was barebones and felt like a Motel 6 with a better bed and bathroom. The furnace was so loud we didn’t turn it on. The movie rental, at $19.99, was unwatchable and kept skipping. Restarting it was tricky. The fire pit is a good idea, but the switch on the fire pit hung by a tread and didn’t work until we called maintenance. Our patio was open to the room next to us and was a security concern as the occupants of the adjacent room could simply walk onto our patio. I went for a walk after dark and started to slip over the edge at the corner of the building on the ocean side, as it’s unlit (very dark), muddy, slippery and at most two feet wide. Someone is going to fall. I want you to succeed, and I wanted to love our stay, but I didn’t.

The location will trump everything else, so I will try to stay there again. As you get access to the beach, with a good fitness center with a great view. The path robe, the towels, the pens, double sinks are of great quality, but I was surprised that some of other amenities are mediocre, such as TV, TV programming, in-room coffee machine and iron were as bad as other non-luxury $60/night hotels..

I've stayed in about 6 Ritz Carlton in the US and this by far is my favorite. They have the best of everything. The resort is so clean and well maintained, the service was amazing, from the front desk to the guy that drove us to the beach, everything was great. We also had a chance to try their restaurants and they were all delicious. The terrace also serve really good drinks and I remember them playing a movie when we were there. We had a great experience and I can't wait to go back again next month! Hoping to have the same experience again.

Stayed at the property 5 times in the last 5 years and always had a great experience. Casual elegance, not stuffy. Top-shelf property with a top-shelf staff...friendly and accommodating. Excellent food and service. Oh, and it has a beach.
