Just arrived yesterday and the first impression is their F&B is lacking for a so called 7-star property. Had the Vietnam Delight Buffet last evening and the food nothing to be excited about except for the price which is 1,388VD and I don't see any Vietnamese food the I am familiar with, not even a simple shrimp roll or even a Pho..quite disappointing..

My wife and I had a few nites here and it was a dream! We stayed in a HUGE suite (216) that had a breathtaking view of the water and so close that the waves sounded fantastic. I confess that I made a mistake in booking and booked a nite too early and the team was so understanding and switched the nite for us. The property is built into the cliffs and span 4 levels connected with a gondola. Multiple pools (one heated), beautiful massive beach, incredible spa, monkeys, yummy food... this spot is a special retreat, for sure come here if you can!

The most intresting thing is about "willing to assist"! If you have any issue, questions, concerns about everything! Staffs in here will always try the best to help you quickly! Thao is an example! We love the in-room cake which is really nice, and tasty. Then, we just go to the Long Bar and ask the staff here for the one! They quickly to contact others outlet to serve us! Will be back here soon! Love it!

Enjoyed a three night stay in a Heavenly Penthouse in this Da Nang mountaintop / beachfront resort. The room was aptly named, as the overall vibe is one of bucket-list indulgence. The penthouse sits at the end and upper level of the vast property, and provides a grand overlook of the bay, beach, and resort facilities. Living room and separate bedroom are large, with extremely high ceilings. Bathroom is similarly large, and features a bathtub with ample room for 4 adults, and two ceiling style shower heads perched high above the entire bathing area. The exterior includes a deck facing the bay in all directions, and a heated private pool, with a separate shower area. Service is extremely polite and professional from staff at all levels; calls for golf cart buggy rides to various locations around the property were prompt, and on schedule without exception. Penthouse also includes butler service – ours (Philip) was friendly, helpful, and ubiquitously available. We sampled excellent Vietnamese and French cuisine at La Maison 1888, Citron, and the in-room Tepadine option (which was an absolutely memorable Valentine’s Day indulgence). While not as easily accessible as other Southeast Asian resort properties, this one will certainly remain on my wish list for a return visit.

First time my wife and I had made it to Vietnam and we were blown away by how nice this place is from top to bottom. Used Chase free night certs and points for 3 nights so figured we would have an average room at best, but pretty sure the lowest room in this property is fantastic. All Ocean views, balconies (which both people and monkeys enjoy) and a great customer focused vibe across the entire resort. Good attention to detail from the smallest request to major asks like chasing down lost luggage at the airport, which happened to us on the HK Express flight from Hong Kong to Danang. Vin at check in assured us that the Intercon had a team dedicated to any sort of customer emergencies such as lost luggage, and sure enough 3 hours later they had worked with the airline to locate it and an hour later it was at the resort - whew. Dining rocks - Chef Dieter, and the team of Dora, Seif, Tam down at Barefoot - can't say enough good things about everyone and all the staff. So attentive and responsive it is fantastic. The Long Bar is long and so relaxing - great sampling of food and of course endless Tiger beer. Our stay kicked off the Tet holiday and the place was packed, with rooms easily sold out at $700 a night...to do this place on points could possibly be one of the best deals that Intercontinental offers anywhere in the world given the quality (the Points Guy might have research on this speculation)
