We stayed here in august we had a lovely sea view room the room was clean spacious and airy it was nice to throw open the windows and get fresh air . Nice bathroom good bed . Friendly staff Breakfast were very good hot coffee

This was my 3rd time at the Royal Barierre and each time was better than the last. I got upgraded to a gorgeous seaview room and not only did i have amazing views, they have the blackout window system I’ve ever used. The hotel is gorgeous, the pool sheltered from the wind is so convenient. Plus the proximity to the Beach is perfect. I was so well taken care of by all the staff, including Azin. I cannot wait to return

The staff were all warm and friendly and the atmosphere is a delightful glimpse of the glamour and fun that this part of France can share. Our room had a perfect view of the glorious beach,the car shows right in front of the hotel,the people horse back riding on the beach….endless interesting scenes. The restaurant was also an elegant place to enjoy attentive service and great food. A very special mention for the concierge staff…Frank ,Owen and Etienne… who all gave us some excellent tips to enjoy our stay and really helped to make things memorable.

We never used the mini bar but the staff tried to charge us 20eu when checking out. But the worst thing was that the concierge told us he could bill a taxi ride to our room. When we arrived in Honfleur I made careful note that the charge on the meter was 38.50eu. The hotel charged us 60 eu. Please learn from us and don’t use the services of the concierge at this hotel. We will not be returning.

The flair and the quality of service you could have expected in the 19th and a large part of the 20th centuries are fully delivered. All the rest follows in these footprints. Reliable choice. At a price, obviously.
