The Seagate Hotel & Spa

Vanessa was amazing at the pool bar. She made our trip very relaxing. We got everything we needed and she made it easy for us to just spend time with the kids.

Had a great time at the hotel and private resort!! Juan was awesome at the pool, constantly checking in with us, making sure we were good and making us feel like family. Overall very great experience here

Unfortunately our experience was not what we expected when we booked a 5 star property. We were celebrating an anniversary and soon to be parents of 2 (expecting baby boy). I emailed the front desk more than a week before our arrival and no one responded until I followed up twice, although the response was far from adequate. When we got to the hotel to check in, our room wasn't ready and the front desk staff gave a typical scripted response about standard check in time being at 4 PM. We made it clear via email that we'd be arriving early and requested our room to be ready for us. There was no manager onsite to speak with and the staff was very unhelpful. On top of that, the hotel recently switched to a Marriott Autograph Collection property and their "system" was not updated -- therefore, no one was able to charge anything to their room during their stay (lunch at the pool, coffees at the breakfast café, etc.) This made things very frustrating since most guests don't carry a credit card around with them onsite (since you can normally charge incidentals to your room). Hopefully things get better at The Seagate since it used to be much different and we weren't able to enjoy our stay nearly as much as we anticipated.

Had a great time at the beach club. Great staff, Juan was incredible and had a great attitude, made us feel like family! Thomas at the bar was also very nice and made some great cocktails.

My husband and I had an amazing time at The Seagate. Everyone was incredibly friendly, and the entire staff went above and beyond. The hotel is spotless and beautifully designed. Christian is an outstanding bartender—friendly, attentive, and extremely skilled. The Seagate is lucky to have him. He made perfect drinks every time and created a fun, welcoming atmosphere. He’s truly one of the best bartenders I’ve ever had. Drew was also very attentive and made amazing cocktails. His recommendations were spot on!! Highly recommend you check them out at the hotel bar! The beach staff was also fantastic, ESPECIALLY Dan, who went above & beyond. He genuinely wanted every guest to have the best experience possible. He deserves so much recognition for keeping everyone relaxed and happy on the beach. I also visited the spa and saw Johnson for a massage and scalp massage. He was professional, attentive, and incredibly talented. He delivered the perfect balance of relaxation and therapeutic work. I left feeling refreshed, loosened up, and genuinely cared for. Thank you, Seagate, for employing such wonderful and professional people! We look forward to coming back next time.
