The Seagate Hotel & Spa in Delray Beach, Florida

Face the sea and you might catch a breeze from Grand Bahama, just 85 miles offshore. Island ease is a way of life at The Seagate Hotel & Spa, sandwiched between a private beach and the boutique- and gallery-lined main street of what USA Today named America's Most Fun Small Town. Delray Beach – and Seagate's PGA-caliber country club down the road – may be a temptation, but indulging in the resort's understated luxury holds equal pull. Guests who choose to wander can do so with a complimentary chauffeur to destinations up to three miles away.

Greet the morning with a stroll by the ocean, accessed through the British Colonial fašade of Seagate's private beach club. Continue to unwind in a cabana by the beachside pool, watermelon daiquiri in hand. Rekindle your afternoon energy with a private tennis lesson, then get ready for an al fresco dinner in the company of sharks (and Garibaldi damselfish – the property's reef-sized tropical fish tanks are award-winning). The night is young, and Atlantic Avenue's nightclubs await. That cabana is waiting for you tomorrow.

The Seagate Hotel and spa is perfect for families on holiday, couple, business and pleasure. I'll think the Seagate Hotel is among the best there is. The hotel is near by the town and shopping street in Delray. It is a short walk, or the hotel will drive you for free to Town or to the beach. The beach is in a club with very good service, lunch/dinner an a beautiful beach. There is a pool in the same club, and there are also a pool next to the spa in hotel. The beach are in walking distance from the hotel. After a week in Seagate in Delray we are very grateful for the excellent service, very nice room and a special thanks to the concierge who guided us in what to do in Delray.

Wow - they aim to please here. Where can I start...with the people that make it happen. All provided excellent, professional customer service - cleaning crew, valet, front desk, concierge, coffee shop employees - great. Manager - seemed to always be on site - kudos to him! All needs were met. The property is really nice, clean, feels quaint - I don't know how many rooms are here. I had a deluxe room. It was large - I could live here for 3 months. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Comfy bed. Great priced snacks in the room. Good lighting. Big mirror. Huge TV. Nice balcony. Pretty sound proof - I stayed on the top floor - so had nobody above me - unfortunately had an adjoining room so that was a little loud at times - but that was my fault because it was in my record that I wanted an adjoining room from years ago. I still had a great sleep. Good curtains that kept out morning sun. Turn down service and daily housekeeping - terrific. Good sized pool. The workout room looked good - although I didn't use it this stay. I did get a massage - it was excellent. Good coffee. Wifi not good - but it was credited back and there was no charge. Great location. Hard to beat this place. Great summer prices.

The service at this hotel was the best I have ever experienced. The room was large and very clean, and the amenities were great. The Seagate hotel also has a beach house on the ocean with a very nice restaurant. In addition, there is the Seagate Country Club with a very nice golf course.

I stayed at the seagate for two nights and I will be back. It isnt a glamorous or ritzy hotel hotel, more of a boutique. We upgraded to a room with a balcony when we got there and it was well worth it! The wrap around deck was great and it was a perfect location to people watch. The room itself was great with a beautiful tub and bathroom. My only comment is that the jets in the tub never worked even after we put in a service request, but it didn't take away from the experience at all.The hotel offers a car service to anywhere you want within a 3 mile radius but honestly you can walk to most places. The beach club is fantastic with your own private beach. All the staff is super friendly and more than willing to accommodate any requests if they can. It is not a cheap place to stay but very worth the money.

Landed late. Asked for nice room since waking up and leaving that morning so wanted nice view. Woke up to white wall on 3 rd floor. (Only 4 floors so wouldn't matter) Felt terrible when across the street was so many hotels with balcony's and views at same price. Keep away.
