In Florida for my beloved father's cemetery ceremony. Lovely hotel in lively area. Lots of shopping and dining in the area. Had Thanksgiving buffet dinner in the restaurant affiliated with Seagate, near the beach. They didn't have our reservation but they went above and beyond to accommodate us. Food was amazing. Shrimp and crab legs were delicious. The waiters were wonderful. My mother is in a wheelchair and not in the best frame of mind with my father passing and one of the waiters handed my mother a rose when we left. It was a very sweet gesture. Beautiful room. Spacious seating area, nice balcony with lighted Palm trees. Positive: nice towels and bath robes. The housekeeping attendant was so sweet and hard working, even on Thanksgiving. She organized our things when we were in a rush to leave for the cemetery and it was so nice to come back to the room with it all looking so beautiful. Lobby smelled nice and interesting books on the coffee tables. Bartender for evening cocktail was very nice. Delicious Aperol Spritz. Good size but pricey but that is the nature of the hotel. My daughter took a bike ride with the hotel bicycle. The weather was not warm enough for the beach or for golf. Negative: the bathroom was so spacious but the tub was ridiculously and dangerously narrow. I am 5 ft 1 inch and 125 lbs and I barely fit to stand in the tub for a shower. I had to stand a certain way in order to shower because my size 7 feet would not have fit otherwise and I would have fallen. It was bizarre. The shower was very slippery and I cannot image how anyone larger than me could safely and comfortably shower. It was especially odd since the bathroom itself was so large with lots of empty space. And the tub was so narrow. If someone wanted to take a bath a normal sized person would never fit. Bathroom lighting was not good. Lady in the room next door sat out on the balcony to put makeup on. Lighted magnifying mirror barely lit up. We were on our way to the cemetery and the car valet was rude and rushing us when I was trying to get 6 people loaded in the car with a wheelchair. I was doing the best I can to get everyone in and he was very abrupt. The other valet were very nice and very helpful and polite. The outdoor hot tub was warm but lots of leaves and stuff from the trees that stayed on our skin until you could shower. Laduree Macaron cart out front was a nice touch.

I was fortunate to spend a few days in Delray at the Seagate. The hotel is beautiful and so was their new employee Kennedi, who not only seated me at breakfast every morning but had a smile brighter than the sun. Kennedi made breakfast a must have experience and was extremely knowledgeable about the area and friendly. I just wanted to point out that caring employees can positively impact experiences and I would hire Kennedi in a minute for my highly customer orientated company. I really appreciate employees who make a difference. Thanks Kennedi!!

Very Disappointed with the customer service. We were staying for 4 nights and had an upgraded room which happened to be on the very busy Atlantic Ave. The noise was so bad we could not sleep. Ask the next day to be moved only to be told that we could not. No concessions, no offerings just told we had to stay in that room. We saw the Opal across the street which looks much nicer. Next time we will stay there. Very Disappointed in the service from a Marriot Autograph hotel.
