Reviews for Kimpton Hotel Monaco Denver

Best experience.

Great service. They even let you borrow air humidifier and curling iron if you don’t have one (amongst other things!). I’ve stayed here before and I keep coming back because the service keeps improving. One thing I would possibly mention is the breakfast is not served until 7am so that’s something to keep in mind when you stay here.

Great location and service

Excellent hotel, service, and location. I love the texting service so I can easily ask questions or request something (a fan was brought up to my room within minutes of the request). Beds were comfy and housekeeping was awesome. I also loved the convenience of Sunday brunch at Panzano’s

March 2024 Stay Missed On Hospitality

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

I travel quite frequently for work and have a strong preference for Kimptons whenever I travel. I arrived at Kimpton Hotel Monaco Denver on Friday, March 29th at 8:10p local hotel time. I had already checked in via my IHG app earlier that day. I was simply stopping by the desk to get my room keys, but an unpleasant arrival experience. The front desk agent was not welcoming nor warm, which is what I grown to appreciate (and expect) from Kimpton check-In experience. The front desk agent did not use full sentences when she spoke. She did not smile or seem happy to help an arriving guest. When she asked for my driver's license. I handed it to her. She returned it by placing it on the counter. I recall standing there with my hand out as she placed it on the counter and wondering why she didn't just give it back to me - my hand isn't poisonous. When she presented the room keys, same thing. It may seem like I'm harping on a minor subtlety, but in some cultures that is considered to be a bit disrespectful (surprise, surprise I'm from one of those cultures). I know that Denver is an international City with travelers from all walks of life. This small detail could really have an impact on a guest's perception of their check-in experience.

Did Not Disappoint

I really enjoy the historical building Monaco Denver is in. The rooms are clean and well put together. Great staff and several small eminities that made a huge difference in my stay. Additionally, the Italian restaurant is insanely delicious with local ingredients, handmade pasta and strong/ well made cocktails.

Fine For the Night!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Our stay was average - we’d been snowed out of our original destination and continued through to Denver. It was seemingly the best rate, so we booked a stay. Valet was expensive, but we didn’t see any way around it. There was damage to our room; light switches broken, chipped mirrors, and bathroom paint bubbling/peeling. Our room opened up directly to the hotel across the street, so they could see us and we could see them. Beds were comfy and provided a good nights rest. The best part was breakfast! It arrived at our specified time and everything was fresh.
