Niyama Private Islands Maldives in Dhaalu Atoll, Maldives
Forty miles by seaplane from its legendary Per AQUUM sister, Niyama is a covet-worthy newcomer. You’ll find every bit of deserted island dream fodder here – tucked-away lounge areas that invite a nap by the water, overwater bungalows, infinity pools and a turquoise-heavy color palate that blends right into the horizon – but the array of indulgent activities also attracts a hip and active crowd.
Snack on fresh fruits brought to you by your private butler while floating on a daybed in your bungalow’s infinity pool. Explore the reefs on a catamaran, slicing through waves and anchoring in deep water to explore the ocean life below. Venture into the jungle for dinner, feasting on an African-South American fusion carne asada roasted on a hot rock. Then behold the most amazing place you will ever dance: the world’s first underwater bar, where the DJ’s global beats match the rhythm of the aquatic patrons outside.

Reviews for Niyama Private Islands Maldives
This was our first trip to the Maldives and Niyama was a great place for our family. Our daughter loved the variety of activities at the kids club and didn’t want to leave. The staff throughout the island were great with kids. We loved having the two islands and going back and forth on our bicycles. Our villa was perfect with the amount of privacy, while also having the pool and ocean just steps away. Their attention to detail and service were exceptional. We hope to be back!
I really don't know where to begin without writing a whole essay on this extraordinary establishment. The pictures don't do justice to the place. From the minute you land with your seaplane on this exotic island you are in for a treat. The weather, the nature, the amenities, the culinary experiences, the adventures, the romance, the attention to detail, the service are all well and beyond... We spent a week here and unlike many island holidays after several days stay it was hard to leave. The accommodation was luxurious, and it's an understatement, with your own beach and personal buttler to take care of your every wish and zip you around the island. If you opt to be more active, there are bicycles provided with every cottage, or just walk around the numerous jungle paths and beaches. Watersports? Take your pick, snorkelling, diving, sailing, fishing, jet skis, paddle board, surfing, kite surfing, kayaking, or just a leisurely swim in one of the pools. Nature? Surrounded by endless turquoise beaches with white sand and green jungle, birds and gekkos. Diving with exotic fish, turtles and occasional friendly sharks. Sunset at the Surf Shack while sipping cocktails and listening to reggae music is unforgettable. Magic! Relax? If just being here is not relaxing enough, there is a spa to cater for the needy and tired, or the ones looking for that extra pampering. Eating out? Additional to the two main restaurants and the beach bars there are three signature restaurants one must visit. Each one of them will give you a unique experience, taking you on a completely different culinary and sensory journey. Going to Egde, Tribal and Nest are a must! SERVICE? What really sets this place apart from the rest is the extraordinary service l never experienced before. While they look after you to ensure that you have a great stay, which you would expect at this level, they do it with such warmth and care that you can't help feeling that you are part of a family here. Yitno our personal aid, Teddy at Epicure, Uwe, Javier and Emily at the dive centre, Siva the operations manager are just a few who really stood out for us, but all the staff were really just fabulous, ALL! It's a credit to them, and a credit to the management. Here we go, an essay after all. To summarise, it is an unforgettable place, an unforgettable experience. Even before we left the island we started planning our return next year. If you are looking for a place to chill and/or play in paradise, look no further!

Niyama Private Island Maldives such a paradise on earth. Resort surrounded with fabulious blue sea and white sand. Moreover, like you lost in the jungle cause the forest all around you. The island is very big, dont worry the resort provide you bicycle and buggy service. All staff in the resort excellent, they serve us such a king. Always keep greeting and smiling especially Lukas, Teddy, Jum and Kiki.

After reading the wonderful reviews on the TripAdvisor. We decided to book our stay at the resort. Our initial queries prior to booking were swiftly handled by one of their staff, Shiyaz. The worries came upon payment were wired to them per the account details as provided by Shiyaz. Upon notifying Shiyaz of the payment made. we either receive no response or a short note just for the sake of replying to us after our various emails to the email corresponding address. All rest of our queries stipulated in our emails were ignored albeit we tried to reiterate them in our later emails. And of course, till now, we are still waiting for the payment receipt and service vouchers. This is definitely worrisome and prompting us if our choice of resort has been wrong or that we have been scammed! Or this is the service level? We hope to hear from the management soonest possible on this.
